"Thank you so much for inviting me over Molly, I really appreciate it." Lily smiled at the heavily pregnant woman and took a sip of her tea.
There were loud stomping noises coming from upstairs- Fred and George, if she remembered correctly, were quite the troublemakers- and Bill, Charlie, and Percy were outside with their father, tinkering in the shed with some mysterious gift they were going to give Molly when their newest sibling was born.
Pots and pans were washing themselves in the sink, and the house was a little bit warn around the edges, but Lily loved visiting the Weasleys, and the sense of peace and warmth that always overcame her. It was loud and chaotic, and sent Molly into a fit with all the boys climbing around, but there was no place Lily had ever seen that felt as welcoming as the Weasley household did.
"Of course dear!" Molly cheerfully waved her wand and the tea sorted itself out. "How are things at home?"
Lily laughed. "Oh, you know how it is. James is working as an auror, and I've finally finished up my Charms mastery under Professor Flitwick, he's talking about making me the Charms professor in the next couple years!" She was practically glowing.
Molly cheered along with her. "Oh, that's so wonderful dear, you'll be such a great teacher." Lily gracefully accepted the compliment.
"Have you thought about having kids recently?" Molly inquired. "It's okay if you don't want them, Lily, kids aren't for everyone-"
Lily waved her off. "It's alright. James and I have been talking about it, we want a family, but we're not sure when." She shrugged. "James might accidentally knock me up one of these days, and if I do get pregnant I don't mind. Having a child would be lovely."
Molly patted Lily's hand. "You will be an amazing mother." She reassured her.
Lily smiled. "Thank you, Molly."
