Laura P.O.V

Was life really this hard.

Or was I just over reacting.

He told me he loved me the night before he left.

I was siting outside my house drinking my 2nd vodka bottle. I haven't showered in about 3 days. I could care less I just need something to numb the pain.

I knew something like this would happen. I should have just broke up with him before he left.

*flash back*

Ross was driving Laura to their last date for a while before he left for tour. He was taking her to and Italian restaurant.

They have been dating for about a year. After Austin and Ally ended they booth went thier different ways, with Ross going on tour with R5 and Laura with college. Laura finished college in New York and decided to move back to California. Ross had just finished tour and got an apartment in California.

They had kept in touch but not much because of their schedules. They met up and Ross asked Laura if she wanted to be his girlfriend.

Laura said yes.

They got to the restaurant. They walked in and sat at a table with a candle lit in the middle.

"Wow this place looks nice." Laura said

"Well it will be the last time we see each other for a while." Ross said with a serious tone

"Ross please let's not think about that, I want this night to be happy not sad." Laura said annoyed

"Sorry." Ross said and grabbed her hand from across the table.

They ate their food for the next hour and talking about their day.

"Want to go to my place and watch a movie." Ross said in the car while at stop light, unsure of where to go next.

"Of course. You have something with George Clooney right?"

"Duh, what kind of boyfriend do you think I am."

They got to his apartment. Ross was holding Laura's hand but let go, when they were about to go into the building.

"Ross are you okay?" Laura said.

"I love you." Ross said and kissed her with so much passion she felt like they were in some romantic movie.

They pulled away. "I love you too." Laura said with a smile plastered on her face.

They watched The American and fell asleep together on the couch.

The next day Ross left.

I was crying again thinking about that day. I had stopped crying about him a while ago because I was done, I felt like crying wouldn't do anything. So I turned to alcohol and drugs. Yeah no one would have thought Laura Marano happy 24/7 would be doing drugs because of some idiot.

But I failed.

He hasn't called me in over a month. I think he was in Poland I stopped caring where he was after I saw a picture of him having his tongue down some girls throat. The tour was going to last 5 months, it was R5's last tour.

I went inside to smoke a joint, to take my mine off him, to forget all the times we had together. Feeling high was the best thing ever, the world was tranquil.

You feel satisfied.
