A/N: I know, this is such a random idea. A cat doing the dougie? A Chain dancing a song that didn't even exist at the time? But this idea occurred to me so I wanted to share this with you. I am not 100% sure if they do actually do go to bed at night though.

I know that Cheshire might be a little OOC doing this, but I thought that the idea of him doing the dougie would be funny. And plus, fanfics are suppose to be unique, right? Enjoy and please review!

Disclaimer: I am not Jun Mochizuki, so I do not own Pandora Hearts. The only thing I own is this fanfic.

For some reason, Cheshire couldn't sleep a wink. He had no idea why, but he just couldn't. Cheshire's eyes were wide open, filled with the scenes in front of him. Alice's toys, her tea party, and...well...toys. He sighed, and got up from his bed. The cat went over to his friend, the Intention of the Abyss. She was sound asleep, and her flour white hair was framing her sleeping face. He shook her awake.

"Hey, Alice? I can't sleep." He felt bad for waking her up, but she was his best friend, she would understand.

Her eyes fluttered open like delicate butterfly wings and glanced up at him. "How come?" she asked him with inquisitive eyes.

"I don't know. I just...can't."

The Will of the Abyss yawned and her eyes watered. She placed her arm over her eyes and said in a calm tone, "Just try your best. Close your eyes and you'll fall asleep eventually." Then, she was snoring again.

Cheshire sighed and with slumped shoulders, went back to bed. Seconds past, then minutes, then an hour. He still was wide awake. Cheshire groaned and smacked his body onto his pillow with frustration. He tapped his overly large fingers against the edge of his bed, then sat up. If he wants to sleep, he needs to be tired. And if he wants to get tired, he should...do the dougie.

I know, a Chain doing the dougie? It sounds ridiculous but if you were him and you could not fall asleep, do you have a better idea? You might say count sheep, drink warm milk, sing a lullaby, and read a book, but doing the dougie is much more interesting, you know? And besides, Cheshire isn't human, so just because those methods worked on humans, that does not mean that it would work on a cat.

He went over to the CD player and inserted a CD labelled, 'Cheshire's random songs that Alice does not know about.' He pressed the button and flipped his fur as if it were hair. When the music came up, he...well...did the dougie!

"Teach me how to dougie

T-teach me how to dougie

Teach me how to dougie

T-teach me how to dougie..."

And the rest of the lyrics, he danced to. But unfortunately, the music was too loud and it woke up Alice. With her eyes still half closed, her skin scattered with bed marks, and her hair messed up and tangled, Cheshire had to think for a moment before remembering that it was just the Intention of the Abyss.

"Cheshire, what are you doing?" she demanded.

"I couldn't sleep, so...I had to do the dougie in order for me to fall asleep," Cheshire explained.

Alice stared at him blankly. "Um, no offense Cheshire, but a Chain doing the dougie in the middle of the night?"

Cheshire gulped.

"And you didn't even put it on clean version!" she added.

Cheshire twiddled with his enormous claws. "Sorry Alice."

The Intention of the Abyss frowned for a split second, then shrugged as if it was not a big deal getting up in the middle of the night.

"Meh. Whatever works for you. I hope you sleep well, good night!" And with that, she walked away and went back to her bed, leaving a very confused looking Cheshire behind. He was quite shocked that the Will of the Abyss didn't care about him doing the dougie. And most of all, how come she didn't compliment him? He thought did good...for a cat.

Oh well, it looks like he will have to dance again in the morning.
