His fingers caught and tucked upon his oversized sweatshirt as he stared miserably ahead at the crowds of people, loitering around alongside the couch or on it.
Tino pouted as he watched some couples express their love quite a bit and winced when he felt an arm loop around his waist.
"Hey, man. What's up?" The American that leaned against him smelled faintly of cheap beer and appeared calm for now and not quite as close to the Finn as the others had been.
"Yes?" Tino questioned, nervously, as his cheeks turned a delicate shade of pink.
"You know that you're standing under a mistletoe right?" Alfred asked with a brief and cunning smirk.
Tino squeaked when the American leaned too close to him and scurried away; all night had been like this for the Finn, and he still had no idea why everyone was trying to kiss him and what a mistletoe actually was.
He stilled long enough to lean back against a wall and attempted to recall some of his old memories or why everyone said that Christmas was at an unusual lull this year with many not feeling up to the holiday spirit and quite a few disappointed children, claiming that Santa had not arrived at their house this year.
Their angered parents landed on the news as well, and all Tino could imagine or feel was sorrow for the poor children and their lovely parents.
He slipped to the ground to relax his legs as his thoughts continued miserably before stronger arms than his own currently seemed to be caught him, and a voice teased him before gentle lips fell on his, "So you're my damsel in distress today, Tino?"
The nation of Finland vaguely recognized that voice, but his legs had already turned to mush by the unexpected kiss that had been planted on them.
"W-Why?" Tino broke off his question at that one word.
"I had to really save you for once." Eduard smiled as he watched his best friend almost curl up against him.
Tino blinked as his head spun and finally the Finn had chosen to push away from the other and scurry farther away before strong hands caught him beneath another mistletoe as the other person seemed intent to hold him and have his fun too.
Norway's face became all that Tino could see for a moment before he realized that he was kissing someone else that he could sort of remember being close to though never in this way.
Tino's face flushed and while that was a good kiss, he refused to stay for a second one or be caught underneath another mistletoe though he had no idea how to avoid them as he still could not recall what they were.
He stumbled upon Hungary who had stopped smooching with Prussia long enough to realize that she was under the mistletoe with none other than Finland, the most Christmassey nation of them all.
She leaned forward just to pull the small male nation in for a quick and sweet peck on the lips as she smiled at him as he looked absolutely adorable with pink tinted cheeks and an awkward smile.
Tino finally chose to escape the mansion to find himself on the porch with Sweden, who had been taking care of him since Finland had lost his memory.
Berwald smiled at the other and ignored the mistletoe above their head as he focused on calming down the Finnish man before him that was still a little shell shocked at how much kissing had occurred at this event, around him and to him.
The Swede watched the Finn relax as he spoke to him on many much more lighthearted topics and tried to bring his mind elsewhere for even just a few moments.
The first Christmas celebration that Tino had went through since losing his memory turned out okay in Tino's book as he cuddled up beside his best friend on the porch and watched the snow fall lightly upon the ground.
