Finally Hers

She knew he would never love her.

Caterina Valentine would daydream of finally being with him.

The only thing stopping her was Jadelyn West.

It was always JadeandBeck.

And that's how Cat imagined it would be forever.

Jade and Beck were in love. So in love, there was nothing that would ever break them apart.

Cat was always in love with Beck and eventually Jade found out.

She was beyond mad.

Beck found out too, except he wasn't mad.

Cat was his best friend. She was always there for him, through everything.

A few weeks later, the one thing Cat had been wishing for happened.

JadeandBeck were done.

Something had happened between them, and it left Cat wondering if she was the reason for that breakup.

Cat found out that Jade was cheating on Beck with the new guy.

The day after the breakup, nothing was the same at school.

Jade was sitting alone at lunch, and Cat felt bad for her.

No one was on Jade's side at all.

At Cat's lunch table, it was just awkward.

Everyone was asking Beck questions about the breakup.

Cat just wanted everyone to stop and give him some space.

She knew Beck wasn't himself that day. That night, Cat went to Beck's house.

She knew he really didn't want to talk to anyone. But she wanted to talk to him.

Cat really didn't care about the breakup. She only cared about Beck.

She wanted to make sure he was okay, more than anything.

They talked for a while, mostly about Jade.

When she asked him if he was okay, he said he was fine. She knew he was definitely lying.

"Beck, stop lying. I know you're not okay."

"I'm not. I'm dying inside. I loved Jade and I thought she loved me too."

Then Beck did something that Cat never thought he would do, especially today.

He kissed her. Sure, it was kinda random, but Cat didn't care.

Did Beck really love her? She didn't ask because she wasn't sure she wanted to hear the answer.

They sat in silence for a few minutes, when Cat decided to ask Beck.

"Do you love me?"

"I always have."

"More than you loved Jade?"

"Yes Cat, much more."

Cat smiled bigger than she has in a while.

They kissed again. And again.

They were finally together.

She was finally his and he was finally hers.
