Hey, God, read any good books lately?
Yes, I have.
Really? Like what?
Look on your bedside table.
Oh, you mean that book. Well, I read a couple of verses last week. Isn't that enough?
A couple of verses? What about the whole other Bible? It is a book you know.
Yeah, I know. It's just...well, nobody really reads the whole Bible.
I did.
Well, you're just God. We are just mere mortals and can't read this whole book.
Why not?
Too long.
You have time. I gave everyone twenty-four hours in their day. You could spare a couple of hours to read it.
Yeah, yeah. I learned about that in Sunday School.
It still has good meaning.
So does Veggie Tales, look, can I get on reading.

It feels weird to have you watching my every move while I read my Twilight book.
Because you are doing something wrong.
What? I don't want to be killed!

Oh. Well, just so you know, God, the Bible isn't a book that you read cover to cover.
Hmmm....really?
Yeah. It's like the Dictionary, or Encyclopedia. It's not meant to be read cover to cover.
Yes, but people would be alot wiser if they did read those books cover to cover. Ever think about that?
Well.....no.
You see, the Bible is meant to be read cover to cover.
Well.....why?
Because it has my teachings in it.
Umm....okay....
Think of it this way. The Bible is your basic instructions before leaving Earth.
Clever.
That's why the call me God.
So, I really am supposed to read the Bible cover to cover.
And put it's teachings into actions.
How will that help me?
