The airport was quiet, 2am and oddly enough apart from staff only three people were there. Quinn Fabray stops with the suitcase she's been pulling and behind her so do Noah Puckerman and Santana Lopez, each with a suitcase of Quinn's that they'd been pulling to the gate. The hazel eyed blonde turns to her two friends with a sad smile "This is it then, goodbye"
The tall mohawked boy is shaking his head as he takes the few steps necessary to close the gap between the two. "I'm not saying goodbye to you Quinn, you're my baby momma and lately you've been a pretty cool friend, you're stuck with me now" He wraps his long muscly arms around her waist and lifts her into a hug.
When he puts her down on her feet again kisses the top of her head and stands there grinning while Santana nervously moves forward, hands shaking and tears streaming down her face. Quinn smiles a little at the sight of her normally tough best friend being so open. "Oh honey, come here" She opens her arms and in what seems like milliseconds Santana is in them.
After several minutes of silent embracing between the two Santana steps back and pulls several items out of her black leather bag slung around her shoulder. "Ok so here's pepper spray, I ain't lettin' you get attacked. I mades it myself with a dash of acid to give it extra bite" Quinn bites back laughter when she reads the label 'SnixJuice' and carefully places it in the nearest suitcase.
"Here is a card with numbers of mi familia who live around New Haven if you get into trouble, need a place to stay for a night or whatever" Santana stuffs the card down Quinn's top while Noah watches on amused by his "Lezbro's" concern. "And last but not least here is a photo of us three and B so you...you know...won't like forget us"
Quinn finds how adorably shy Santana has become very endearing. She takes one step forward and pulls Santana's hands that had just flown up to cover her face away with her own before leaning forward a little more and planting a gentle kiss to her best friend's lips. "I will never forget you"
With a last longing glance between the three, Quinn boarded her plane. Puck and Santana walked side by side, hand in hand when they had to return home, The boy knew that if he were someone more eloquent he would say something to help his Latina friend but right now all he could do was hold her hand and hope that after losing Brittany indefinitely and now losing Quinn to a college she'll know she's not alone.
