Another Sesame Street sketch rewrite, this time, another one of Kermit's lectures in which he discusses light and dark, written in script form. Enjoy and comment.

(Kermit is sitting in his room)

KERMIT: Hi ho! Kermit the Frog here! Today I'm here to show you about light and dark. Now, as you can see, this room is filled with light, because this lamp is turned on.

But if I turned this lamp off, there would not be any more light. In fact, it would be dark, because this lamp is the only source of light in this room.

Let me show you.

(Kermit shuts off the lamp, right as Grover enters)

GROVER: Hello there froggy! It is I, your furry blue pal Grover, here to help!

KERMIT: Thanks Grover, but I was trying to show what it would look like if this room was dark, but you opened the door and let the sunlight in, so it didn't get dark.

GROVER: I did that?

KERMIT: Yes you did. The sun is another source of light, you know.

GROVER: I did not know that, but I'm glad that I found that out.

KERMIT: Now, if you can please close the door, we'll see what it's like with no light.

GROVER: Of course!

(Grover shuts the door, causing the room to become totally dark.)

Oh my! It's so dark, I can't see my nose!

KERMIT: You see, that's what happens when there's no light.

(Grover bumps into Kermit. A loud crash is heard)

GROVER: What am I stepping on?

KERMIT: You're stepping on me Grover.

(More crashing sounds are heard as Grover moves around)

Stand still Grover!

(More crashing sounds are heard as Grover and Kermit argue. Then, Grover opens the door, revealing that the whole house is damaged.)

(Kermit gets up, with a lampshade on his head)

GROVER: Nice hat Kermit!

(Kermit falls to the floor. Grover stares to the camera as we fade to black)
