This is the reaction to Valcanors death. It's his brother who just learned. Said brother is a Republic Trooper. It'll be multiple chappies

The Lieutenant of HAVOC Squad was not having a good day. A mission gone bad meant having to wait as the burn on his face healed. It wasn't that bad but it still stung badly. It also meant that Vladislav had to give the report to General Garza which he officially hated. And that was how he found himself in front of the holocom in The Rasputin. The holocom was beeping signalling a transmission. He realized it came in hours ago. Oops. His two companions, Jorgan and Dorne, stood behind him. He accepted the transmission and what appeared made his eyes go wide. The two behind him just looked confused.

What appeared was an Imperial. She had her hands behind her back and a look of great sadness was on her face. It looked like she had been crying earlier. The three troopers watched what happened.

"Greetings. I assume this is Vladislav Raginis I am speaking to. If so, I have news for you. It concerns your brother." The woman paused in order to wipe her eyes. While she did so Vladislav had gotten his voice back.

"What about him? What's this that concerns my brother!" He all but shouted. His squadmates looked on with worry. Their leader was distressed, that was obvious. Before anything could be asked the woman continued.

"I am not sure if you knew, but your brother joined Imperial Intelligence." a squawk of surprised came from the trooper "He graduated top of his class. Anyway, he was recently assigned to a mission to take down The Eagle. You're probably aware of the terrorist." She paused again.

"Hurry up and say what you want to say." Vladislav said.

"He found and destroyed the man." Vladislav felt a little bit of pride arise for his little brother "He found half of the codes that went to the eradicatitors that were aimed for key imperial cities. We located where the other half were. When we got there, Cyper 9 went to check the bridge. He found the codes but. But he ran into a problem.". That sentence turned the lieutenant tense. "He met a Sith Lord. More importantly a member of the Dark Council. He resisted the temptation given by the Sith. Instead of firing the eradicatitors like he wanted, Cyper disabled them. The Sith attacked him and." She stopped her message as she turned away. Vladislav dropped to his knees. The Imperial didn't need to complete her sentence.

"He fought the Sith and landed multiple blows, injuring the Sith badly. However, he fell. To the Sith. I'm so sorry but Cyper 9, he is dead.". She finished and the message cut off.

"No. It's not possible. No." Raginis muttered over and over. He couldn't be dead. There was no way. No. He stayed kneeling on the floor, head in hands. Tears ran down his face. He choked on a sob. He couldn't believe it. His smiling little brother. This time he couldn't stop the sobs. They ripped their way out. Heartbroken crys echoing through the ship.

For a minute Aric and Elara stood unsure of what to do. They had never seen their leader shed a tear let alone break down like this. Slowly Elara made her way behind her lieutenant. She wrapped one arm around him in attempt to be if some comfort. Jorgan knelt down, one hand on Vladislav's shoulder. They weren't sure how much time passed until Vladislav could speak clearly again without breaking down. He simply stood and made his way to his quarters Elara trailing behind him. Jorgan stood at a distance. It was clear that Raginis was still upset. None of them wanted him to be alone. When they got to his door they stopped. It was locked.
