Disclaimer: So, I don't own glee. I don't own L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole. I…don't own the waltz.
And, if you had to read this to figure that out, you don't own a brain.
HAHA THAT WAS FUNNY.
It's late. Don't judge me.
Kurt yawned tiredly, glancing up from pages of notes lying on his legs. It wasn't a specific study day—no big tests any time soon, but he was trying to go over his notes studiously so that he wouldn't panic quite so much next time. The last time he had a test, he hadn't ended up sleeping at all and that hadn't ended well. In fact, the only thing he could really remember about that day in particular was a lot of coffee.
Suddenly, the door popped open and his curly haired boyfriend pounced on him, cheeks flushed. "Kurt! Kurt! Kurt!"
Kurt's eyes widened in confusion. Had Blaine had coffee before bed again? Blaine seized his arm and started tugging on it maniacally.
"Blaine!" Kurt yelped as the aforementioned teen pulled him off of his bed. "What are you doing?"
"Dancing," Blaine grinned, whisking Kurt into a set of simple but exhilarating dance moves. Kurt gasped as Blaine pulled him against his body and sighed contentedly into Blaine's chest.
"You're acting strangely. Dancing without music?" he asked coyly.
Blaine rested his head sideways onto the countertenor's head. "L is for the way you look at me," he sang slowly and softly into Kurt's hair. "O is for the only one I see."
Kurt couldn't contain his smile as he listened to his boyfriend sing him a cheesy love song so romantically.
"V is very, very extraordinary," he sang along. "E is even more than anyone that you adore."
Blaine chuckled, shushing his boyfriend with his pointer finger. He had a purpose, despite the supposed strangeness of the situation, and his voice changed minutely as he sang the next lines, which he was sure Kurt would notice. "Love is all that I can give to you. Love is more than just a game for two. Two in love can make it—"
Kurt glanced up suddenly, realizing what Blaine was trying to tell him. "You—"
"I love you," Blaine said. It was rushed out, and quiet, and almost shy. But it was the most sincere thing Kurt had heard in a long time.
Kurt searched his eyes for a second and then smiled slowly. Leaning in, he brushed his lips gently against Blaine's, and murmured "Take my heart and please don't break it. Love was made for me and you."
He pulled away slowly, eyes shining. "I love you, too." Blaine smiled and Kurt allowed himself to fall into his arms again and waltz lazily, his face in Blaine's chest again. "You romantic teddy bear."
Blaine chuckled, and Kurt giggled with him.
Blaine was far better than a touch of fingers.
Haha. That was quite short. Ah well.
Today was a total day of, just, creativity. I wrote, like, two songs. And this. Except it all hit after three, so I was kind of bombarded. Hence the lateness. Because I finished recording the song, and then I thought of L-O-V-E and how he thought of that, and then I was like Oh, how sweet if Blaine used that to sing to Kurt. And then I was like, actually, that's quite good. I should keep that idea around. With all its good shading.
Bahahaha.
GUYS GUYS GUYS. I HAVE SPRING BREAK. YES. YAYAYAYAY :]
Nutella + lack of sleep + recovering from flu + music + creativity = SCARY, SCARY, SCARY STUFF.
