"See ya around, Sailor" Catherine turns to hop on the plane but stops short just before boarding. She can't leave without letting him know.

"I know about it."

"What?" Steve asks confused.

"I know what you were gonna do before I left."

Steve is shocked. "Wait a minute. Wait, did Lynn..."

"It was uh, it was an accident, she didn't mean to," Catherine stammered. "I'm sorry..."

Steve stares at Catherine, trying to process her words, but he has one more question. "Just, you know, out of curiosity, if I had asked…what would you have said?"

Catherine stared into Steve's pleading blue eyes as tears pooled in hers.

"I would have said yes."

Catherine turns around before Steve can see the tears streaming down her face. Or worse—before she sees his.

Catherine is about to shut the door on Morocco, on her life, on Steve. But she's stopped by Steve's words.

"Say it again."

Catherine turns around to face him, confused, revealing her tear-soaked cheeks. "What?"

"Say it one more time," Steve pleads.

Catherine manages to choke out the words once more. "I…I would have said yes."

Steve gets down on one knee and looks up to the woman he can't let go of again. He pulls a small black box out of his bag.

"Then say yes"

Steve opens the box, revealing a small diamond on a silver band. Catherine gasps and her hands fly up to cover her face.

Looking up at her, Steve smiles. "One year ago I wanted to do this. So many things have changed since then. But this-this has never left my mind. I don't know what the future will hold for us. But when you come home, I want you to come home to me. Always. So Catherine Rollins, will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

Catherine doesn't attempt to hide her tears this time as she springs forward and captures Steve in a kiss. "Yes" she whispers. "Yes"
