Naomi was rather like a fish in water, Emily thought. She held grace which she, herself, couldn't match and, yet, whenever she felt as though this time would be it she'd stretch out a hand and the blond girl would dart out of her reach, once again. Slippery and wet was a fairly good description of Naomi at that moment, as her chest rose and fell in rapid cycles as liquid slid its loving path down her and Emily could see the glint of sunlight reflecting off the droplets settled on Naomi's eyelashes from where she lay at the poolside.
