Summary: How did Grissom REALLY feel about Warrick's death? He and Catherine confront each other back at the CSI lab after their fellow CSI's funeral. My first CSI story. Oneshot.

"Hey. You OK, Gilbert?" Grissom turned around.

"Yeah. Yeah, I-I'm OK," he said. "Just... Just leave me to do my paperwork."

"I thought it was nice," Catherine said. "Giving a speech and all that."

"Yeah..."

They had just come back from Warrick's funeral and Grissom was on the verge of tears. He hadn't cried during the ceremony for a reason, you know: he was trying to be strong for Warrick's gang. And not just 'gang' as in his CSI team--I also mean for his son and wife. But now, Grissom could no longer restrain the eyewater. He spun 'round in his tracks and flew his arms around Catherine.

"CATHERINE!!!" Catherine accepted Grissom's bodyslam-like embrace and hugged him tight.

"It's alright, Gil," she said.

"I-I can't believe this..." Grissom sputtered.

"Like you said, Gil. He was a good man."
