I passed by the new boy at Forks High School.
No it's not Edward Cullen...it's his younger brother Derek.
He's 16 and Edward's 17.
News was flying around the school about Edward and Bella's engagement.
Many girls were crushed to hear that Edward was getting married.
Suddenly, Derek was shoved by the school bully Airwren (pronounced Aaron).
I rushed over to Derek.
He brushed his dirty blonde hair out of his crystal blue eyes.
"Ignore him", I told Derek.
"Who're you?" he spat.
I scowled and said, "No one". I stormed off.
How could he? No boy had ever spoken to me like that.
*Derek's Pov*
The girl that helped me had flowing red hair and glowing green eyes.
The wind blew her scent to my nose and I inhaled deeply.
She smelled like lily's mixed with strawberries.
I opened my big mouth and upset her. I hadn't meant to.
Carlisle had warned me about this happening.
I couldn't deny the fact that the girl was indeed my, "La tua cantante".
My blood singer.
*Lily's Pov*
"What's wrong Lily?" my best friend Jesse asked.
"The new boy totally shunned me", I told her.
"Shunned you?" Annie asked, "Does he know who you are?"
"He's right over there", Jesse said pointing towards a shaded area of the courtyard.
Derek's older brother Edward walked up to him and they started talking.
"See ya", Jesse and Annie said.
I sighed and headed to my blue Mustang convertible.
*Derek's Pov*
Edward walked up to me. "Hey little bro", Edward said.
"Edward...how did you control yourself around Bella?" I asked him.
"I don't really know", he said, "Why?"
"I've found her", I told him, "I've found my blood singer".
"In whom?" he asked.
"I don't know her name", I said, "I only know that she has red hair and green eyes. She helped me after I got shoved by Airwren".
"You should tell dad", Edward said.
"Okay", I said, "Come on. We'd better get home or Esme will really start to worry. Especially with the sun coming out".
