Prompt: Time Goes By
Characters: Teddy Lupin, Lily Potter II
As Time Goes By, people grow older.
For example, Lily and Teddy grow older.
"Two Years," Lily sniffed, "I want to go now!"
"I can't wait until Hogwarts is over," Lily chuckled to Hugo as they bid their parents goodbye and ran off to meet their friends before they had to board, "It seems like we're here for ages,"
"I know," Hugo agreed knowingly, "Oh, there's Sebastian! See you!"
"Bye!" Lily said, "See you at Hogwarts!" Hugo sprinted off and Lily sighed.
"I'll miss him," Lily muttered. Then she felt herself bump into Teddy Lupin.
"Hi," She mumbled.
"Hey Lily," He smiled, "How are you?"
"Great," Lily blushed, "Any luck with finding 'The One'?
"I've found her alright," Teddy announced with a smile. Lily grinned, hiding her emotions.
"Who is she?" Lily asked, hoping, wishing it was her.
"You," Teddy smiled. Lily felt like she might burst.
"Truly?" Lily asked, "I mean, you're 27… And I'm 17. Will this work?" Teddy kissed her.
"Of course it will," Teddy grinned. And Lily couldn't stop smiling.
As Time Goes By, people start families.
For examples, Lily and Teddy started a family.
"Will this work?" Teddy kissed her.
"Of course it will,"
"Natalie," Lily said proudly, staring at her new born daughter, "Natalie Victoria Lupin – Potter,"
"Perfect," Forty year old Teddy declared, "Perfect,"
"Coraline!" Lily called, "Daisy! Michael! Raven!" A ten year old girl with red hair and brown eyes came out, as well as an almost two year old. Then an eight year old boy with rainbow hair and purple eyes and a six year old girl with pink hair and green eyes came in.
"Daddy and Mummy with baby," Raven, the almost two year old, announced. Lily smiled.
"Raven, her name is Natalie," Lily announced proudly.
"Natalie," Coraline, the eldest of them all and the one about to go to Hogwarts said, "I like it,"
"Another girl," Michael groaned, "Seriously,"
"Natalie?" Daisy asked, "How'd you come up with that,"
"Natty!" Raven clapped.
Of course everything would work out.
As Time Goes By, people grow from babies to teenagers.
That was especially true with Lily and Teddy's children.
Now that Coraline had graduated from Hogwarts, moved out of home and had a job as a healer, everybody missed her.
But that meant they appreciated her more.
And Daisy was working as an Auror, but was living with her parents until she could get on her feet.
Then Michael was in his sixth year, Raven was in her second year and Natalie was entering her first year.
"I can't wait until I see all of my friends at Hogwarts. Is it the same once you start Hogwarts and you see them after the Holidays?" Natalie said.
"Yeah," Michael, the snake, agreed, "It is pretty good when you haven't seen each other for three whole months then, finally, you do!"
"Are you nervous?" Raven asked, staring at her Ravenclaw tie, "I would be,"
"About what?" Michael chuckled.
"Newt classes, of course," Raven rolled her eyes.
"Sort of," Michael shrugged, "Shouldn't be that hard,"
"It is," Daisy laughed, "Trust me, dear brother,"
And as Lily, Daisy and Teddy waved goodbye the circle was again complete.
A/N: This completely wrecks most of my headcanon, so don't judge my other stories by this :D Although it was fun to write Lily/Teddy because I normally don't write them.
