Sooo I had to write a whole bunch of poems for an englich assignment back in September. Here's one.

(Officially submitted two fanfictions to class oops [ the other was a short story and my teacher told me to! I might post it later if I can find it])

lol didn't edit

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Arther had warned him
That much he knew
But still, he gathered
Those flowers blue.

Flowers in his fist
Alfred met Davie
They were both very young,
No older than babies.

Soon, they were friends
Grew rather attatched.
But, as you know human life
Is not made to last

Of course at first
They aged the same
It seemed they were playing
The very same game.

But Alfred wasn't
And it was tough to admit
But somehow he'd said
Teeth, clenched and grit

He wasnt human
That much was true.
Though he blended in
Just like me or you.

He would live forever
Only begining, no end
Unlike his newfound
Human friend.

So Davie grew old
And Alfred remained,
The same as always,
Consistant, unchanged.

But when Davie got sick
There was naught Al could do
So he returned back home,
To collect more flowers, blue.

Alfred brought those flowers with him,
When he next visited Dave,
And placed them just before
The headstone on his grave.

And as the cold breeze
Hit the immortal mans face
He couldn't bring himself to wish
Arther's advice hadn't gone to waste.
