I know sounds far fetched right...wrong that girl was me we were gonna get married until his parents died and he thought I betrayed him to the wolves and left me pregnant with his children. That a thousand some years ago in the past. I knew that he became a monster a vampire.

1. Prologue (Edited)

*******910 A.D. *******

It was morning and the sun was shining through the trees and a fresh layer of snow laid on the ground. A young boy was wandering through the forest not far from his home. When he came to a clearing. He stood in the middle and admired the beauty. When he heard a twig snap behind him. He quickly turned to look and he caught a glimpse of something running behind a tree. The boy's curiosity got the best of him and he went to investigate. He quietly approached the tree and drew his weapon not making a sound trying to catch whatever it was off guard he peered around the tree expecting to see an animal of sorts but what he saw caught him off guard behind the tree was the most prettiest girl that he had ever seen. She was wearing a small beautiful dress with a fur lined cloak to keep out the chill, long blonde hair that shone like the sun, beautiful eyes the color of a storm over the sea, and a small scar from the side of the cheek to the middle. The girl let out a yelp of surprise and feel backwards. The boy quickly apologized and sheathed his weapon then, offered her a hand and helped her up. The girl brushed off her skirts and reached down and picked up a basket filled with strange flowers and plants. The girl thanked him and asked his name "Eric, My name is Eric. What is yours?" He asked, "My name is Jessica." She answered his question with a smile. "What are you doing out in the woods by yourself?" "I could ask the same of you." She replied. "But I asked first and you are in my family's territory. "He said with a slight arrogance. "I'm sorry for intruding. I was just out gathering herbs and I guess I wandered too far." He could see that her trying not to blush. "Would you like help getting back?" He asked, "I can find my own way back, but it would be nice to have some company." They set off together and talked about different things they learned each other's ages Eric is 10 while Jessica is only 9. He asked her about the scar "I got this when I was 7 or 8 it's not something I like to talk about" She replied, casually. "Why not?" He asked, curious. "It's a complicated story that I wish not to share." She gave him his answer sternly and he did not ask about it anymore. They continued to talk about meaningless things. When they stopped for a break. Eric was sitting down when a snow ball flew at him and he heard a giggle. He turned towards the sound and saw Jessica with a smile on her face trying to act innocent. He gave a smile of his own and threw one back at her when she looked away. This caused a small snowball fight between the two laughing as the other got hit. "Hey do you know how to sword fight?" Jessica suddenly asked excitedly. "Of course, I know how to sword fight." Eric said. "Then let's have a dual when we reach my house." She suggested happily. "I will not battle with a girl it would be to easy. "He said smugly "Don't be so sure of yourself Eric I was trained well by my father." She said. "Okay let's see if your right." They continued on the path laughing at each other's stories. They came to a clearing where there was a beautiful spacious looking log house. Eric was in awe at the beauty. "WHERE WERE YOU?" the exclamation startled Eric out of his awe. He looked behind him to see a boy that looked like Jessica. "I was just gathering herbs for mother when I accidently wandered to far." Jessica said defensively. "Who are you and what are you doing with my sister?" the boy asked advancing on Eric. "Eric this is Samuel my twin brother. Sam this is Eric he was helping me find my way home." Jessica answered. Just then they heard a deep male voice call Samuel's name and he rushed off to help his father. Jessica disappeared inside the house telling Eric she will be back in a moment only to return with a sword of her own. "Eric, I challenge you to a dual." She pointed her sword tip at him. "I accept your challenge." He withdrew his sword from his sheath and pointed it at her. "Then let's begin shall we?" Jessica says with a smile on her face. The fight was almost over when Eric brought down his sword about to strike from above, Jessica turned around and raised her sword above her head and blocked him by putting her free hand on the blade and pushing his away. The fight continued till she kicked the sword out of his hand and it landed in hers she brought them both to each side of his neck forming an X behind his head. "So too easy huh." Jessica said with a smug smile. Eric gave a smile in return as she handed him his sword. "I hope to see you again I had fun." Jessica told Eric. Eric asked, "How bout we meet in the same spot as where I found you?" Jessica gave a small smile and nodded her head yes. They heard a female voice call Jessica's name at that sound she said her goodbyes and went into the cabin.

7 years later

"You still suck at sword fighting you know that right." A now 16 year old Jessica said with a smile offering a hand to a now 17 year old Eric. "Hey sister take it easy with him." Samuel said with a smile. After a while Jessica of getting to know Eric she introduced him to Samuel and they quickly hit it off and he and Eric became best friends. As time went on they eventually introduced each other to their families and introduced the families to each other. Eric's family adored Jessica and vice versa.

1 year later

Jessica never showed how much it hurt her to see Eric with those other girls, and hearabout the details of his conquests over the years. She kept her feelings in check and a smile on her face as she sat a table with Eric and some other men and listened to Eric talk about yet another one of his bed-mates. Her brother looked across the table saw the hurt hidden behind her eyes that everyone failed to notice but him and later that night he comforted her as she cried they talked and came to the conclusion that it would be the best for herself and her people if she just move on. She started looking around Eric's village for a suitor and found a few whose company she enjoyed. She courted them to see who she would pick. Wrapped up in finding a suitor she failed to notice the jealousy that grew in Eric's eyes day after day as he saw the men touching her and her touching them, listening to them laugh together, and the knowledge that she is going to marry someone who isn't him and give herself to them. He got fed up with it one night he went to look for her and found her in the clearing. Samuel was with his wife and 1 year old daughter and 6th month old son so it was just her by herself. Jessica was sitting with her back to him in the clearing looking at the star lit sky suddenly he heard her say without looking at him "I can feel you staring at me might as well come and join me." He walked over and stood beside her. She asked, "Why are you here?" He responded "I came to ask something." "Ask away." She told him. He asked, "Have you chosen someone yet?" "Yes, I have." she caught a glimpse of sadness in the beautiful blue eyes she fell in love as she turned to look at him. Eric could feel his heart breaking at her answer he waited too long, he became mad at himself and Jessica for choosing someone else. He stood in front of her and pushed her onto the ground on her back he got on top of her and kissed her it was full of passion, lust, and love. She pushed him away and he saw tears and sadness in her eyes. She spoke, "Eric no I need to find someone to settle down with and marry. I love you I have for a long time now doing this with you would kill me inside knowing all I will be is a bed-mate and nothing more. Just another girl to warm your bed for the night till you find someone else to do it." Anger flashed in Eric's eyes as he pinned her arms to the ground and with an anger laced voice he said, "No man will ever touch you again, you are mine, you will marry me and you bare my children. All those women meant nothing to me they never gave me the feeling you do." Eric said in a husky tone dripping with lust but serious. "Then prove it." Said Jessica pulling him down in another heated kiss. That night they made love several times.

Jessica had a surprise for Eric a something that he and everyone else would be delighted with. Eric had a surprise of his own for her. It was a beautiful starry night with a big beautiful moon when they approached each other in the clearing. Eric said, "Jessica something to ask of you. Will you become my bride Jessica Heca Nacht?" He handed Jessica a silver ring like the one he wears this one had a beautiful blue topaz stone in it and a matching necklace also made out of silver. Jessica responded, "Eric, yes of course I'll I will become your wife you didn't even have to ask I'm so happy." Her face was lit with joy and happiness. "Eric I have something to tell you." she looked up into his eyes and grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach. He could feel a bump as he moved his hand across it. His face immediately lit up with a smile and he spoke, "Really?" She nodded her head yes and he picked her up and spun her around. She was 3 months pregnant.

******1 month later*****

Life could not get any better for Eric and Jessica, both of their family were ecstatic to hear the news. Jessica was at home with Eric's parents and his baby sister while he was out hunting or at least that is what he told her. She and Astrid were talking when they heard a noise and then the doors fell and a pack of wolves charged in Eric father went for his sword and Eric mother was protecting the baby. Jessica went for her sword to Eric's father already killed at least four they changed into humans they were werewolves. Jessica did her best to defend Eric's parents and his baby sister. When Jessica saw Eric's mother fall she quickly beheaded the werewolves and took Eric's sister and fled from the house. Jessica ran as fast as her legs would carry her with the tiny bundle in her arms. She heard a howl and then foot falls behind her those of the wolves. She knew it would be impossible to escape so she held the baby to her chest in a protective way just as she felt a wolf land on her back and knock her to the ground one managed to get to her throat and tore it. She felt the weight move off of her all of a sudden and heard a yelp and saw a dead human fall beside her. Through her slowly darkening vision she saw a figure stand over her a peaceful smile graced her face and she murmured Eric's name feeling content knowing that his sister would be safe as she could hear her crying and that she would be able to die in the arms of the man she loved. She felt herself being lifted from the ground and a hand placed on her neck as she blacked out.

****Back at home*****

Eric heard a scream and left the girl he was with and walked out to see wolves attacking his family he quickly grabbed his sword and joined the fight. He watched as a wolf took his father's crown and gave it to a cloaked figure standing at the door the wolf transformed into a a woman who looks like Jessica and she hands him the crown. Eric feels betrayed and angered by what he sees thinking Jessica betrayed him. He is ready to go after them when the cloaked figure tells him not to be a hero. He goes back to his father and kneels down beside him and his father tells him he is king now.

*******Back in woods*******

Sam was walking through the woods with his parents when he heard his sister's unmistakable scream. He quickly ran to the place where he heard it only to see a wolf on top of her. He killed the wolf just as his parents caught up they looked on in horror and quickly ran over to their daughter. Sam picked her up while their mother grabbed the child out of her arms and tried to soothe it her father tried to stop the wound from bleeding. As fast as possible they made their way to the house their father's magic barely keeping her alive. They quickly got her inside and laid her on the bed. Sam took the baby and their father left to go back and check on Eric's family. Their mother quickly gathered ingredients as she could feel her daughter's life quickly leave her body. She arranged all the ingredients and started to perform a spell to save her. When Jessica woke finally after the whole ordeal it had been 3 days. Her father returned and informed them that Eric was still alive. Jessica was delighted to hear this and wanted to see him as soon as possible. But everyone protested against it. Jessica did not know why and she became angered. They finally explained after she tried to sneak out and find him and what she learned had crushed her heart. They explained the night of the attack Eric was with another women and Melody reared her ugly head so Eric thinks they all or at least Jessica betrayed him. She cried for a month but never got rid of her necklace and ring hopping none of it was true and he would come for her and she could explain it all. They kept Eric's sister knowing he would not be able to raise her properly. Jessica's belly grew in size month after month. She finally went into labor during her 8th almost 9th month of pregnancy. She delivered 3 healthy beautiful children, but it was at the expense of her own life. Her mother performed a dark ritual to bring her back but it came with a price in which Jessica was cursed to be immortal. Her mother knew the curse would cause her to see her own children grow old and succumb to death so she used a spell to tie the children to their parents knowing Jessica and Eric would live forever and so would they and since she would never age or die the children would grow to her age and stop. She bounded Eric to them to because she saw into Eric's future and knew what would become of him further increasing their chances to escape death. When Jessica finally awoke she gave her children names the first was a girl with Eric's light blonde hair and Jessica's grey eyes her name was Sigrid. The second was a boy who looked like Eric his name was Erik. The last was another boy who looked like his mother and his name was Alexander.
