I have no clue where this weird little thing came from... Meh. Oh well! :3

Ed groaned as he rubbed his eyes tiredly, dreading the day already. His mouth opened widely as he yawned, stretching out his heavy limbs. He really didn't want to be here in the office of all places. This was the last place he wanted to be, stuck glowering at the face he hated most.

"Take a picture, fullmetal. It might last longer." Ed scowled. Oh, how he wanted to beat in that smug face.

"Shut up, bastard," he growled angrily. Roy smirked as he looked away from his young subordinate. Ed bristled. How dare the jerk just ignore him! He opened his mouth to shout some more, but his rant was abrubtly cut off before it could even start as he yawned again. He sighed in defeat as he placed his face in his palm, wanting nothing more than to leave and head back to the dorms, where he could sleep the rest of the day away.

"Ed, you look like a zombie." He looked up at his superior again, gritting his teeth in frustration.

"I said shut up, Colonel!" He hissed. Ed frowned. He wondered how right he actually was about his appearance. He probably wasn't far off. He probably looked dead on his feet. He sure as hell felt like it.

"Here." He looked up to see Roy standing in front of him. He frowned. How had he not heard the man approach? He sighed again. He really needed some sleep. Roy had his hand outstretched to him, holding a small rectangular object. It crinkled as he moved to offer it to the disheveled boy. He raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What?" Roy rolled his eyes.

"It's not poisoned, Fullmetal. Just take the candy," he explained. Ed stared at it warily. Roy sighed in exasperation.

"Eat a snickers, Ed." Ed's eyes narrowed in suspicion as he cautiously took the chocolate, opening it and taking a big bite. He missed Roy's smirk.

"You're just not you when you're hungry." Ed glared at him, his mouth to full to respond.

"Shut up, jerk," he mumbled before taking another bite. He felt any anger fizzle into nothing as he tasted the sweet chocolate on his tongue. He continued eating it, gratefully. Finally when he was done, he gave the man a quick muttered 'thank you'. Roy grinned.

"Better?" He asked mockingly.

"Shut up."
