KlavDar is one of my top OTP's for Ace Attorney, so it only felt right to write something. This one was inspired by a prompt that a dear friend of mine pointed out to me. I wanted this to be kinda bittersweet in a couple places, so I hope my objective was achieved~

Anyways, this basically fits my headcanons for these two perfectly. Sass and digs at each-other galore, but when it comes down to it, these two really care about one another very much.

The snow gave beneath booted feet, crackling as the pair walked silently— their destination completely unknown. Despite the weather, this little ritual of theirs had become the norm for whenever either of them was unable to sleep, restless, or just plain upset. Late-night text messages would be exchanged and without fail, the slightly older teen would announce his arrival by tossing small pebbles at Klavier's second story bedroom window. Same routine every time, and it was always a comfort to Daryan once his friend was safely on the ground after sneaking out.

This particular outing is just like any other at the start—the blossoming prosecutor apparently had a fight with Kristoph over his choice of friends. Well, what better way to piss him off than sneak off and spend more time with said terrible influence? A bright full moon hung above Klavier and Daryan; Illuminating the abundance of white upon the ground, and causing individual flakes to sparkle at their feet. Cars drive by on occasion, but the nearby noise gets ignored in favor of the two just quietly enjoying each-other's presence.

After an hour or two— it's hard to tell with no clocks around— Klavier's voice is the first to cut through the silence. "Think it'll always be like this, Daryan? You and me?" The younger teen asks of his partner in crime, a soft and almost worried tone to his voice. For the past couple of months now something had felt slightly different in his heart concerning a certain detective in training. What if feelings like these scared him off? After all, Daryan normally wasn't one to show a soft side; he was all bite. Klavier internally damned himself for being so honest.

"'Don't see why not Klav. 'Far as I'm concerned, you're stuck with me!" He chuckles a bit, gently placing a hand atop the others head and mussing up those short blonde locks even more than they already are. Their eyes meet after a moment of silence; at this point, he knows all too well what's going on. "Always."

When Klavier reaches up for his hand—a warm smile playing at his lips, Daryan makes no objections. So they continue to walk the dark and lonesome streets, through alleyways, and along the train tracks on the outskirts of town. Their fingers laced together as though it was an everyday occurrence.

There were no further words exchanged, only when morning came and they were forced to part ways for the time being. Sometimes, words just aren't necessary; and it was obvious to the pair— the feelings that were shared that night. With a dream in their hearts, and an unbreakable bond between them.. What more could possibly be needed?
