His arrogance will be the death of me…
The same thoughts always ran through my head.
That same smirk… that same confidence.
I wanted to throw something at his perfect face.
I could hear his violent protests penetrate through the thick walls of the gravity room, he was angry… always so angry, and always training.
I was tired of fixing everything he broke, only yesterday he had taken the bots and dropped them at my dads feet "These aren't good enough for me… I'll need something, stronger, faster if you pathetic earthlings ever want to be protected from the androids".
I sighed as I tightened another screw, Nothing would ever be good enough for him, but I had already accepted that.
"Bulma?" The dry voice of my father crackled over the intercom, I smiled at the distraction and pressed down the button to respond, "Hey dad, what's going on?"
"How is the re-building going?"
He was obviously referring to the mangled bots sitting around me. I sighed again, and kept tightening various bolts and screws, "As well as it can I suppose, Vegeta does have a knack for destroying everything, some of these won't be able to be repaired".
I heard a disgruntled sound coming from the intercom, "I'll be in to help you soon".
With that he disconnected and I became immersed in my work once more.
It was several hours, before I heard a loud noise. I shrieked and jumped in my seat.
"WOMAN!"
I swiveled in my chair to be greeted by a shirtless, dirty and sweating Vegeta.
"What is it this time, Vegeta?"
He threw down another pair of mangled bots and spun on his heels to leave.
"WAIT a darn minute, I'm not fixing one more thing! You break everything!"
"I don't have time for you, woman".
"UGH! I have a name you know!"
He turned swiftly and looked at me with intense eyes, "Bulma, I don't have time for you."
With that he walked out the door, leaving me in silence.
I picked up his mangled bot and threw it at the door.
I would NEVER understand him.
