The day Naruto Uzumaki, the future Rodaime Hokage, was born was a tragic day. Its events will burn itself into history. Minutes before the attack, Naruto's father, the Yondaime Hokage, was lost in thought. His thoughts mainly factored in Naruto, and the weakening of the seal. Kushina was especially vulnerable while in birth, and could either die from Naruto's birth(which was unlikely), or get the Kyūbi extracted from her. His backup plan was to use the Shikki Fujin and seal the beast into newborn Naruto. He at least wished his son would be seen and treated as a hero.
He knew no way of extracting the Kyūbi no Yōko without dying that he knew of, but there is one, but he didn't know that. He walked to the bedroom to clear his thoughts. A few hours later, a healthy baby came in cradeled within Kushina's arms.
Thump!
A figure dropped from the ceiling, seemingly using a high level Genjutsu to hide. Minato pulled out his tri-pronged kunai, and his mother used a Genjutsu to make Naruto sleep. Her chains were lashing wildly at the intruder, giving the feeling of wild snakes, but the intruder sidestepped every single one of them. The masked intruder found the second to Shunshin towards Naruto. The intruder held a kunai up to Naruto's neck, which meant even if Minato Hiraishined towards him, the intruder could kill Naruto.
He said, "Hokage-sama, get away from the child or else."
Minato threw the kunai at the intruder. The intruder, seemingly not knowing what The Third Hokage's moniker was for, threw Naruto at the kunai. Minato flashed, and in what seemed to be a second, had Naruto in Kushina's arms and had a kunai at the intruder's throat. The man kicked and thrashed, giving Minato a few scrapes and bruises. The man-like intruder disappeared in a swirl of leaves. Minato let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, then found Kushina and Naruto unconscious in the bed. He checked Kushina's seal and it was completely gone. As if on cue, a loud roar emanated from the streets.
Minato had a friend in the orphanage that was loyal enough to use Shikki Fujin himself. He then sealed the Kyūbi into Naruto, his soul getting eaten by the Shinigami itself. Once the debris was cleared enough to get a flat area, Minato stood in the middle, his forefingers unconsciously poking together. He gathered the courage to speak, and spoke.
"All right. I wish to announce my secret marriage and child."
The audience seemed to take it well, and they had a great celebration. Even that night, there was a feeling of happiness and joy.
"Goodnight Naruto."
"Goo nnnh Oto-tan."
