A/N A sad drabble about the pain and suffering of Emperor Papatine's 66th Order, also known as the begining to the Great Jedi Purge. Please review, this will be short, but holpfully meaningful.

At 2100 hours local time, on the one thousand and eighty-ninth day of the Clone Wars in 19BBY, an order was given. An order that would mark the end of an era...an order that only an estimated 100 Jedi survived.
The ghost of that dark hour still haunt so many...the terror in the eyes of the ones who were killed from Master Ki-Adi-Mundi, to hundreds of younglings who innocently fought for life at the Jedi temple, to the death of the grand duelist Master Windu.
Trust. Maybe, just maybe if trust would've been given... things wouldn't have happened that way, but there was no trust amongst the hero's-Palpatine may not have been the best Sith Lord, but he could spin a web of lies better than the likes of anyone the Republic had been prepared to fight.
Master's died beside their Padawan's, Jedi artifacts dating back further than the Republic were lost to the gray mist of time. Long lost words whispered in the ears of all who were close enough to stop this conflict.
The hollow feeling of fear pulled the Chosen One into a pool of darkness that burned so much more than the lava that melted his skin...he had many chances to stop, but by the time he could have pulled himself away from the temptaion of the darkside to save his wife-he was too far gone.
The spirit's of all of the innocent's that perished over the time of the Great Purge might have left their bodies behind, and even though their pictures and stories may have been forbidden...the history they lived through will never die.
Sometimes it is wonder of those who remember this time...just a little wonder about what tragic tales could be told from the dead.
Alas, we will never know what truly happened to every single soul that was murdered that day, but maybe their deaths will save a future generation from the same dreadful fate.....
And if not...thousands of more souls may one day join them, bringing their own tragic tales into the mystery of the afterworld of the Force...
~End~
