They walked into the house, both exhausted from the ordeal. Willow had never felt so drained; emotionally and physically. Not since Tara had died. Kennedy kept an arm around her shoulders, steering her to the kitchen, setting the kettle to boil.

"I'm sorry…I didn't mean to freak out."

"Don't apologize. I get it."

"You don't. You can't know what Tara still means to me."

"She was the first woman you loved. I--"

"I feel like…I'm stuck in between. I want to keep Tara alive in my heart…but I want to be with you. It just doesn't seem fair."
