I wonder if they know how much it hurts, to be called 'Loony Lovegood.' I wonder if they know why I act loony. It's not because I have no understanding of the world. It's because I don't want to be apart of the world as it is. Draco Malfoy and the Slytherins (along with some others) call me loony, but they don't seem to realize that they're the cause of most of my looniness. Does that sound a bit crazy- or loony? Think of it this way. In my third year, when my friend Harry Potter was in the Triwizard tournament, a simple entertaining game turned into a fight to stay alive because a Death Eater infiltrated the school and he sabotaged the game. And Cedric Diggory died. In my fourth year, Umbridge changed the school and we had the Battle of the Department of Ministries, and Sirius Black died. Close to the end of fifth year, we fought the battle of the astronomy tower. The current headmaster, Albus Dumbledore died. In my sixth year, two Death Eaters, the Carrows, taught Defense Against the Dark Arts and Muggle Studies. The crustacious curse was prominent. Then we fought the Second Wizarding War, and hundreds died, including one of my closest friends, Colin Creevey. All of this was because of one man and his band of accomplices. Its completely crazy, and cery sick. That's why I prefer to live in my mind, where no one dies, no one is tortured, and everyone is happy. It's the way I like it, and no amount of teasing and taunting could change that. My name is Luna Lovegood, and I'm loony and I'm proud.
