A/N: I am so extremely ticked off at the finale! I swear, it was the worst finale I have ever seen! I wrote this after watching it. (In my opinion, Raymond Caine Sr. should be dead) oh, by the way, the poem is mine (I wrote it myself)
Let Go
Horatio Caine had never felt such incredible grief in his entire life.
I can't find words to express
How I feel at this moment in time
My emotions were quickly put to the test
And now I know you'll never be mine
I couldn't afford to say how I felt
The choice was mine to make
With all the pain that you've been dealt
I know I made a mistake
The course of true love never did run smooth
And all this goes to show
I can't bear to face the truth
So I have to let you go
He watched until the plane was out of sight; only a speck on the brilliant colours of the horizon.
