You see, in high school, teenagers – depending on their level of popularity and social rank – think themselves to be indefatigable. This, however, is not true. Every student has their own breaking point. For Axel Yukio, this was his. AkuRoku AU

A/N: Well, I am not dead, as you can see. Just been really busy lately, but I actually doodled this in one of my notebooks at school around August… maybe. But yeah, this is very short little prologue to a chaptered fic. : ) keep in mind that I have only got about 4 or so chapters planned, so the plot or storyline could change anytime.

Warning: This applies to all chapters. This story will contain AkuRoku, one-sided HayRoku, SoRiku, SoKai and a few other pairings. AU, shonen-ai, boys love… etc. Nothing explicit here yet (I will warn you at the beginning of a chapter if there is).

A New Beginning: Axel

Prologue part 1

The cacophony of friends chattering and gossiping suddenly flooded the corridors, as if a transient sanguine breeze had flown through the seemingly pallid area, filling it with life.

The latent gloom of the first school day of the year was finally decreasing with the arrival of the students and their sometimes cheery dispositions.

Of course, there are always some students who have nobody to talk to – some simply just don't want to talk to anyone – who sit by their lockers, listening to iPods, playing on their PSP's or Ds's, reading or simply sitting there. Even though the passerby's give them strange looks all the time, they usually ignore them. Only occasionally will they retaliate.

For, you see, in high school, teenagers – depending on their level of popularity and social rank – think themselves to be indefatigable.

This, however, is not true. Every student has their own breaking point.

For Axel Yukio, this was his.

A/N: Well, I know it is really short, but I want to read over the next chapter, make changes, edit etc. I will post it soon though. This is only the first part of the prologue… the next bit is about Roxy :)
