A/N: my favourite author is Darren Shan (no big guesses then) I've just finished hell's heroes. And I just keep thinking how similar the part of Dervish and Mr Creapsly are, their both there for Darren and Grubbs. Sorry for the spoiler that they both die (Mr Creapsly died in book nine of the saga and it was pretty obvious that Dervish didn't have long at the end of Dark calling). You know that really upset me!
Ode to a vampire and a disciple
You who provide safety and warmth
Who showed kindness
An ex vampire general
And a warily punk
Vampire and disciple
You provided comfort
With your warped sense of humour
Your high moral values
And high moral values
You fight when you need to
You face your foes with fury
You kill demons
You hunt vampaneze
You are the ones that provide stability
In their ever changing world
You snap the nightmares
You teach them their errors
You lose loves
The biker chick and the black swan
The queen of the bars
Dying for the fight
Your deaths bring pain
Killed by a craze lord
And a wayward demon
You fight till the end
Dervish Grady and Larten Creapsly
The Punk and the freak
The uncle and the mentor
The disciple and the vampire
Even in death may you be triumphant
