As the TEARS run down her small PALE face
Her (sobs) echo around the 'empty' room
Under the table - Tucked up in a corner
With (N)(O) one around….. NO one to comfort
She 'cries' away her SORROWS
As if they meant

She's –TERRIFIED—
Of what she doesn't *know*
The outside world frightens her
Because it's
*….UNPREDICTABLE…*
People change their (minds) - without a second +thought+
She's a victim (without a crime)
As they PuSh her AroUnD
Every Day
She losses what's inside
Calling out then *waiting*
As the bruises
(S) (L) (O) (W) (L) (Y) come
What's wrong with trying – For a better year?
She does WHATEVER it takes…to backtrack in time
But NOTHING works
And EVERYTHING hurts
But she still wishes upon that *star*
And dreams every NIGHT
She still sees that (silver lining) - hidden in the clouds
So after all the schoolyard KiCkS
Everything will be fine
