In the depths of the Frontier, a swirling green portal swiftly opened, spat out a silver and green craft, and closed again just as quickly.
"Wow," Danny said, looking at the infinite void of space all around him. "I can just tell that this universe is going to be great! I better look up the data on this world."
Having said that, he pulled up Clockwork's file on that reality and started reading.
Basically, in that world, order was kept throughout the cosmos by the immortal Guardians of the Universe from Oa, the planet at the center of the universe. They were aided by their police force, the Green Lantern Corp, who wield power rings that allow them to harness the emerald energy of will to fire energy blasts, fly, and create solid constructs out of green light!
But a new threat, the Red Lanterns, who wield red power rings fueled by rage, are attempting to invade Guardian Space and destroy Oa for the destruction of the Forgotten Zone, which was destroyed when the previous force created by the Guardians, the Manhunters, malfunctioned and caused massive chaos.
Now, the first human GL, Hal Jordan, and his crew are stuck in the Frontier, trying to stave off the Red Lanterns.
"Of course, in EVERY universe I end up in, there's some sort of threat I have to deal with," Danny sighed, with a glare toward a shielded compartment of the ship. He then put in nav data to the Speeder's systems, and set out to meet this "Hal Jordan".
