Ok, I saw a picture of America and Canada watching a horror movie together on Photobucket and I got this idea. Matthew is a bit OOC because I wanted him to be more sarcastic than shy.
*While writing this fic I noticed there was another very much like it. Just so you know, I DIDN'T COPY IT, or GET MY IDEA FROM IT. This fic has nothing to do with that one.
Disclaimer-I don't own this stuff... blah blah...

Alfred was excited for tonight. He had made plans with Mattie to watch a movie tonight. He loved movies, and the only way to watch a movie is with someone else in his mind. He was running around the house like a chicken with its head cut off, however that is, trying to make everything absolutely perfect. He went through his checklist again and again in his mind as 8 o'clock slowly approached. He had put the popcorn in the microwave, made pancakes (why his brother ate PANCAKES while watching movies he shall never understand) bought a whole fresh container of maple syrup, fluffed the pillows, put the DVD in the player and got a litter box for his bear. (Why the hell does his bear use a litter box?) Just as the popcorn finished popping, the doorbell rang. He stumbled over the piles of DVDs strewn across the floor as he dove for the doorknob. He reached out dramatically on the floor as Matthew let himself in.
"What are you doing sprawled out on the ground like that?" He looked incredulously on his flat brother.
"Well, when a hero falls, he falls dramatically!" Alfred said weakly, raising his hand but remaining face down on the rug. Matthew reached down and pulled him up.
"You really need to stop with the crazy hero stuff."
"But whyyyyyy? Mattie, I really AM a hero!"
"Yeah, keep dreaming." Alfred huffed and slumped his shoulders. "Anyways, what about this movie you called me so crazed about?"
"It's SAW! The pinnacle of American horror!" He said with a laugh waving the DVD case under his nose.
"Oh, I see... So it's another story about a psycho who makes up creative and interesting ways to kill people?"
"No! Well... Maybe... It's a little..." Alfred stammered while Matthew nodded knowingly.
"Well, I guess I can bear through it."
"YAY!" Alfred threw his arms around Matthew's neck. "You won't regret it!"
"Gah- Okay- Just let me BREATH!"
"Oops, sorry!" Alfred let go and backed away.
"Okay, it's okay..." He said rubbing his neck, annoyed. "Is everything ready for the movie?"
"Yeah, right down to the damn pancakes! You have any idea how hard it is to prepare for a movie with you?"
"Oh shut up." They plopped onto the couch and Alfred smiled at Matthew.
"You ready for this?"
"It's a movie! What's there to NOT be ready for?"
"It's a gory movie!" He said with a wide grin. "People are killed in REALLY creative ways!"
"Thanks for fair warning." Matthew said, and rolled his eyes. "Are YOU?"
"Of course! Horror movies don't scare the Hero!" He stood up and did the classic comic book pose with his hands on his hips and his chest thrust out. Matthew reached up and yanked him back on the couch.
"And the hero doesn't follow his brother home because he got scared, eh?" He said with a chuckle.
"What did I just say Mattie?" He said with a scowl. "I WON'T get scared." He slumped in his seat on the couch and pressed play. By the first death, he was clinging to Matthew's arm. By the second, he was hiding his face in Matthew's shoulder and screaming like a little girl. By the third, he was whimpering and near tears. Matthew, out of embarrassment for his brother, pretended not to notice. Soon, the credits rolled and there was a quiet.
"Uh, thanks…" Alfred mumbled, looking at the floor.
"What for?"
"Not, you know, teasing me… I appreciate it."
"Oh, no problem." Matthew half smiled at his brother, who returned the gesture. "You know, you still can't follow me home."
"I wasn't-well okay, maybe I was!"
"As always." Matthew said laughingly.
