After watching "Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike" I came to a conclusion: Yuri and Flynn sure have a weird definition of friendship.
I mean, seriously, it ranges from "watch my back as I charge this monster" to "I'm punching you in the face" to "be more careful" to "clean up your side of the room" to "follow your orders for once" to "I'm going to miss you so much now that you're leaving"
I just sat there during the credits thinking "wtf?" and came up with this oneshot
Sadly, I do not own Tale of Vesperia
Definition of "Friendship"
Yuri Lowell isn't the type of person one would expect Flynn Scifo to be friends with, but that all depends on your definition of friendship.
For Yuri, friendship means getting yelled at to clean up his side of the room.
For Flynn, friendship means watching that idiot's back as he charges into battle.
For Yuri, friendship means taking the punches thrown at him.
For Flynn, friendship means yelling warnings he knows will be ignored.
For Yuri, friendship means missing the uptight Knight as he walks out on the Imperial Knights.
For Flynn, friendship means promising to see the carefree swordsman again.
For Yuri and Flynn, their friendship is something to be cherished, because friends who will whack some sense into you are hard to come by.
A/N: I know, short. I guess it could be seen as Yuri/Flynn if you squint reeeeeaaaaaally hard.
