"Hey Spence, whatcha reading?" J.J. asked. When they boarded the plane, Reid had pulled out a thick, black hardcover book and had been reading intently for the past hour.
"Um, nothing," he quickly shut the book and dropped it in his bag.
"Come on, show me!" she reached for his bag and managed to snag the strap before he grabbed it, causing it to dump on the floor. J.J. spotted the book and picked it up.

"Whoa, calm down Spence. It's just a book. It's not real." He sighed exasperated.
"I know J.J. but the fact that Bella had Edward's child when the only way that should have worked would be if, when he was changed into a vampire he had an-"
"Okay," J.J. cut him off. "Just forget I said anything; just finish your book Spence. I'll leave you be." Going back to her seat she shook her head. "If you give a genius a novel…."
