Unohana sat, watching Zaraki-Taicho fight a giant hollow. She wondered why he loved to fight so much; all it did was give him unnecessary wounds that she had to heal. Why couldn't he be like Hisagi-fukutaicho? Only fighting when he needed to or ordered to do so. She could then hear the hollow shrieking as Zaraki-Taicho cut it in half. He started to walk over to her but then saw something disturbing: there was a hollow about to attack Unohana. He rushed to her hoping to make it in time. Unohana wondered why he was running to her and then she realized the hollow behind her. She reached for her zanpakuto but remembered she left it at her office. 'Crap,' she thought. The hollow hissed at her then charged. She closed her eyes and waited for the inevitable but it never came. She opened her eyes to see Zaraki-Taicho in front of her bleeding, and the hollow disappearing.

"What the hell were you doing, woman?" he demanded.

"I didn't know what to do," she replied.

"You should've got up and ran to me as fast as you could. If you did I wouldn't have this scratch," he turned around to show her the wound. It wasn't life threatening but she wanted to heal it anyway.

"Sorry," she looked down. Just as she was about to heal him another hollow showed up.

"Damn, don't these things ever give up?" he wondered aloud. Then he disposed of the hollow quickly but more came. He put his sword in its holder and walked to Unohana.

"Uhhh, what are y—" she was cut off as Zaraki picked her up and ran back to Seireitei. When they got there Yachiru happily jumped up onto 'Ken-chan's' back and he put Unohana down. "Thank you Zaraki-Taicho," she said.

"Ken-chan is braid-lady's guardian," Yachiru giggled. At that both taicho's blushed.

"I-I guess he is," Unohana smiled her smile. "Thank you for protecting me. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to my division." She walked off towards the fourth division. Then Zaraki walked off to his division to take a nap.
