The Docks
"Uhhh" I groaned. I can't believe I have to work the late shift for Hawk again. Next time I see him I'm going to give him a piece of my mind. I sighed. No use in complaining now, might as well just get the job done.
I saw an airship pass overhead. There were no scheduled pickups tonight. What on Remnant is going on? The ship started to dock as I decided to stay out of sight behind a container. I had a pretty good idea of what was wrong and I prayed to Monty that I was wrong.
My fears were only confirmed when White Fang troops exited the ship. A man with red hair, a cain, and what looked like an expensive suit stepped out. Wait! Thats Roman Torchwick, I saw his wanted signs all over the news. This was bad news, I needed to get out of here!
One of the White Fang guys started talking to the convict. He seemed agitated, it didn't help that a girl snuck up behind him and stuck a sword at his throat. Great, now's my chance! I ran as fast as I could, till I got to the edge. I lept into the water and didn't stop swimming until I reached shore. I'm am going straight to bed, and cuddle with my pet cat Loki.
The Transmit Tower
Wow, this place was wicked! "And I've been told that they're supposed to have some sweet androids there!" said my nerdy friend, Ace. "I wonder what kind of processor they use!" Like I said, nerdy friend. He dreams of getting a job in designing androids for Atlas.
"Dude!" I yelled at him. "Quit day dreaming or we'll miss it!" I was right, as soon as we got there they started the presentation. I noticed some girls a ways off from the presentation. They were actually kind of cute.
I wasn't the only one who noticed them. Two of the guards noticed them as well. They started chasing them down an alleyway. A dozen thoughts poured into my head at once, what would gaurds want with a couple teen girls, were the girls some kind of criminals? I pushed the thoughts out of my head. If these girls were wanted by the military then I need to catch them. Who knows, maybe they'll let me join. I've always wanted to join the military, so I rushed at the chance.
I ran across the block to cut them off when they exited the alleyway. They came out and rushed into the street, straight into the path of a truck! As soon as I thought that was the last I'll see of them, the truck stopped. When I strained my eyes I could see that one of the girls stopped the truck. With her bare hands.
They ran into another alleyway. I immediately turned around. This was a little too much, I'm just going to head back to Ace.
Highway
Today was a living hell. 12 hours of meetings, getting yelled at by my boss, and having my girlfriend, Crystal, dump me was putting me in a bit of an off mood. This day could not possibly get any worse.
I spoke too soon. Out of nowhere, a giant mech barreled down the street. I saw it in my rear view mirror just in time as I swerved to not get hit. I swerved right into a street lamp. My insurance won't cover this… I HATE MY LIFE!
I saw some teen huntresses running on top of cars to keep up with the mech. I guess I'm hitch hiking back home.
