Disclaimer: I don't own the cast of Even Stevens.
Rating: PG-13, just to be safe.
Summery: A few months before the events of WotR Twitty talks to Ulovlige about Louis, and a few other things.
Warnings: Mentions of slash, blood-drinking, Ralph Nader, and the Wiggles.
A Moment In Time

"Hey, Twits." Jack said, barely glancing up as the lavender-haired boy followed his twin into their chambers.
"Hey." Twitty answered, dropping onto the deep, white leather couch that took up half of one of the walls. They entire room was done in leather, except the satin sheets, and black flannel quilt- even the canopy and curtains on the bed were soft leather.
Sam walked around the bed, and sprawled elegantly out across it, his head coming to a rest on his twins stomach.
"He's mourning." the younger- by a few seconds- told his brother. "Pining away for the human."
"The clown?" Jack asked, sitting up a bit. He was rewarded with a light thwack.
"Don't move." Sam said, glaring at him. "I was just getting comfortable."
"Can you /ever/ forgive me?" the other inquired.
"You haven't bought me flowers in a while."
"I'll get you some next time we go out."
"I'll let slide, then."
Jack grinned at him, then looked back at Twitty. "So, what're you going to do about him?"
"I'll take him to Roxie, once I'm sure."
"Ooh!" the twin said, his grin widening so he looked somewhat manic. "If you Change him, can we have the girl?"
Twitty glared at them. "I can't really stop you, now can I? Once my missions over, they're fair game. Until then, you're going to have to use the warps if you want to hunt."
Sam rolled over on his side, but shifted so he remained in more or less the same place, and pouted adorably. "You're horrible." he sniffed.
"As long as it's my mission around here, they're all under my jurisdiction." he said. "I didn't get Roxie to go after Nader until you'd turned Clinton, did I?"
"Why did you her to Change Nader so bad, anyway?" Jack asked.
"Same reason Indemnis and Rainbow went after the Wiggles, I'm guessing." Sam answered for the younger Vampire when it became evident he was to caught up in magenta tiles on the ceiling to reply for himself.
"Hey, Ulovlige?" Twitty said, after a long moment. "How come Roxie can change whoever she wants, like the Gemini, want even though the rest of us can't?"
"Isn't she our leader?" Jack asked, seeming a bit uncomfortable.
Twitty shrugged, and didn't noticed the glance the twins exchanged.
After a few minutes of silence, Twittys watch began beeping.
"Damn." he said, rising. "I gotta meet Louis and Tawny."
After he was gone, Sam and Jack released sighs of releif. They liked Twitty, but he shouldn't think about Gemini Mysterys so much.
"What do you think?" Jack asked, after a moment.
"You know what I think." Sam replied.
"I wanna hear you say it."
"I think he should be sent to Apollonia to help with the rebuilding."
"I think we should trade him to Aphrodite for some Seers."
Sam clapped twice, and the lights went out.
THE END
A/N: How was that? Not my best work, but it didn't suck quite as badly as I expected it would. Hmm...
Dedication: Written because Alice wanted me to write something else about Even Stevens. Thanks, Alice, for going where Noel refuses to tread.
Rating: PG-13, just to be safe.
