Funny story about this piece. I was working off the prompt orange, and I was like, "How on Earth can that apply to Ami and Urawa?" The only thing orange that came to mind was pumpkins. This came out, and now I really wish someone would take me on a date to a pumpkin patch, lol.

Disclaimer: If I owned Sailor Moon, do you think I would be sitting here writing fanfics? Seriously, use your brains people!

Urawa couldn't believe Usagi had talked him into this. He had thought of leaving several times, but kept deciding against it as he didn't want to appear rude.

"Ryou-kun," a soft voice called, and he felt his face heat up a little.

"A-Ami-chan, hi." It wasn't usually so hard to form coherent words. His tongue seemed to have swollen. He must have contracted some rare disease! He should leave so that no one else would catch the almost assuredly highly contagious ailment.

"…okay?"

"Huh?" Oh, yeah, that sounded intelligent! First you come off as a rude jerk, and now you come off as an idiot.

"I asked if this place was okay. I told Usagi-chan she should pick some place a bit more practical, but she was very adamant," Ami repeated.

"Yeah, this is fine," Urawa managed to stutter out.

"I'm glad." When she smiled at him, his knees turned to Jell-O (never mind that it wasn't physically possible).

Urawa had never before thought of a pumpkin patch as a romantic place for a date. He had always associated those places with little children and young parents, and was quite sure Ami had felt the same. However, as he stood in the crisp autumn sun examining a particularly small pumpkin, and Ami's slightly chilled fingers sought warmth from his own, he thought that perhaps there was a bit more to the place than he first thought.
