She hated it. When they compared her to Red Arrow, and when they always said that he was a better choice for the team. None of them actually said it out loud, but she knew that everyone single one of them thought it.
Added to all that she didn't get any slack. Every single time she did something that could even be perceived as wrong, she was called out on it. She was called out on the slightest infraction to the rules, rules that she knew Kid Flash broke on a daily bases. Did he ever get punished for it? Nope. That's why she made no attempts to really get to know anyone on the team.
There was also the fact that she could hear the whispers about her, who her father was, where she came from, none of it was safe from them. How did they find out? Probably Ms. Martian sneaking around her head uninvited. All because she supposedly, took Red Arrow's spot on the team. It made her mad as hell. That's why when anyone mentioned Red Arrow she snapped. She began to scream and shout profanities at them, but this only encouraged the rumors.
Artemis couldn't take much more of this. Wally only made things worse. He'd aggravated her beyond the point of return. She was holding on by one single fraying thread, but that was all splintered one day.
