Ginny Weasley sighed, running a hand through the tangled mess she called hair. She navigated her way down the winding stairs of the Burrow, working at a small knot in her shoulder-length red hair.
She frowned as she saw the large breakfast that was laid out on the dining room table, and she looked around at the grim faces in the room.
"What's...going on?" She asked slowly, knowing that the eyes of her brother and mother were on her.
Her mother cleared her throat, causing Bill to nod slowly. He slowly handed Ginny a letter encased in an un-opened envelope.
She took the black paper from Bill, her hand shaking slightly.
He frowned, walking into the next room and sitting down in one of the large armchairs. Molly Weasley slowly traced his steps, sitting down in the chair opposite him.
Ginny took a deep breath before breaking the seal on the envelope.
Tears flowed freely down her cheeks and onto the paper. The silver ink on the page began to run as she read and reread the letter.
She turned quickly, the paper falling to the ground as she ran up the stairs and entered her childhood bedroom.
Bill slowly stood, walked over, and picked up the letter. He read it over once, confirming his fear.
Molly stood and walked over to her son, catching glimpses of the silver ink that read 'Seamus Finnigan' and 'fallen during battle.'

The sky was dark, matching everyone's moods. The curtains were charmed to be black, and no one said anything as they ate breakfast.
The daily newspaper arrived in a flurry of wings, something everyone had been dreading. Even the owl made no outstanding noise, as though the mood was contagious.
Eyes fixed on Arthur Weasley as he reached for the paper and opened it. He closed his eyes, placing the newspaper down flat down on the table.
He slowly stood, nodding to everyone. "We should go...The procession is waiting..." He said softly, his voice hoarse from lack of use.
The majority of the people nodded, and stood up to follow him out, the same thoughts in mind. Why? Why did she have to do it?
On his way out, a raven-haired man closed the newspaper after reading the small paragraph.
'1981-2000. Ginevra Molly Wesley. Preceded in death by fiancé Seamus Finnigan, and brother Charles. A beloved sister, and amazing friend. She will be truly missed.'
