The rumours raged back and forth. The Great Hall was abuzz with noise.
All of a sudden, there was silence.
You see, the chosen one had just walked into the great hall with his supposed girlfriend, Ginny Weasley. They walked towards the Gryffindor table, chatting animatedly.
Well, one couldn't blame the people who spreaded the rumours. There had been nothing much to talk about lately. Harry and Ginny were talking and spending so much time together. Therefore, it was decided that the two were going out. One couldn't help but agree that they made an excellent couple.
Anyway,didn't Harry tell everyone that Ginny was the greatest girl he had ever met? After Hermione, of course. However, said girl didn't count as she was dating Ronald Weasley.
That fact had been confirmed long ago.
So Harry and Ginny had to be dating, right?
It wasn't possible that one could be such close friends and not be together. It just wasn't possible. Besides, the hero always got the girl, didn't he?
"Harry, is it true?" an anxious Hermione asked.
"What?"
"That you're dating someone."
Instantly, Harry blushed. "How did you know?"
"It really was kind of obvious, you know." Hermione replied, with a smile.
"So, you're okay with it?"
"Yeah, why not?"
Harry sighed in relief. "And Ron?"
"Well, I suppose you'd be better than the others. Just treat her well, ok?"
Her?
At this point, Draco Malfoy blocked his path. And Harry's face went even redder, if possible.
"Harry! What I heard had better not be true…" his voice was threatening, almost, but it had a hint of worry.
"Of course it's true, Draco… wait a minute… are you angry?" The Great Hall instantly fell silent. Since when had Harry called Draco Malfoy 'Draco'?
"Of course I'm angry, you idiot! I come into the bloody Great Hall and hear some rumours about my boyfriend dating the Weasley girl, and I come to confront him about the stupid business, hoping he'll say no, and what does he say?! He says that THEY ARE!"
A collective gasp from their audience.
Harry couldn't hold back his laughter."Oh Draco!" Harry laughed. "I swear, I thought were asking about whether we were dating!"
His boyfriend's face softened.
"Besides, doesn't Zabini tell you anything?"
Instantly, Draco Malfoy narrowed his eyes. "Blaise?"
"Yes, Draco, Blaise, your good friend? He and Ginny are dating, silly." The couple blushed, and Ron immediately directed his attention to the other Slytherin. Oh, this would not be pretty…
A reluctant smile.Then, Harry pulled his boyfriend into a deep and passionate kiss. Ron's attention snapped back to them.
"Harry!" he (Ron) protested.
Unfortunately, the kiss did not escape the teachers' notice.
"Ten points from both Slytherin and Gryffindor for inappropriate behaviour!"They didn't bother which teacher it was.
They were too lost in their own worlds…
