4:30 A.M.

SLAM!

"Uhh…" 29 year old Sakura moaned. "That's the 5th alarm clock this week, why do you have to get up so early honey?"

Sasuke, who was 31, sighed as he begun to put on his biker kit. "I'll be back soon, bye honey."

She nodded sleepily and fell back into the bed, used to this early morning routine. Sasuke and Sakura had been dating for 2 years already, and during those 2 years had gained an unbreakable understanding of one another.

He headed out of their cozy joint apartment into the icy morning air.

"Sasuke-teme!" Naruto shouted enthusiastically towards him.

The Uchiha looked towards Naruto and Kakashi, his long time biking partners. "I'm coming, dobe."

He hoped on his bike and started up the hill towards the market, which was only about a 15 mile bike. Once safely away from their apartment, Sasuke broke out into a grin that rivaled that of a Cheshire cat, which was extremely unusual.

"….Teme, why are you grinning like that?" Naruto narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

Sasuke said nothing, just continued to grin wildly as they turned onto yet another street.

"Seriously Sasuke, what's going on?" Kakashi asked, almost worried by his old friend's strange behavior.

"We aren't going to the market guys; we are heading to Starbucks, OK?" Sasuke said awkwardly.

"…umm… why?"

"Because."

"Cuz' why?"

"Just do it…"

Naruto sighed exasperatedly, "Fine."

Kakashi just shrugged and pulled out his Icha Icha book, deciding to go with this new plan.

The trio rode into the parking lot, resting their bikes trustingly against the building. The bell sounded obnoxiously as they entered Starbucks.

"Hey Sasuke!" Ino, the cashier, greeted enthusiastically. "What do you want?"

"Umm.." Sasuke paused momentarily, "Can I just have a cup with Mocha Latte written on it?"

Ino looked at Sasuke awkwardly, "Sure…"

Sasuke grabbed the empty cup and out of the store.

"Hey are we heading back already?" Naruto asked dumbly.

"Yes, and hurry!" Sasuke started pedaling, his eyes shinning strangely.

Not 15 minutes afterward they arrived back at their starting point. Sasuke fiddled with the key hurridly and stepped into his apartment. He motioned for Kakashi and Naruto to come in, and they did. Sasuke entered their bedroom and shook the sleeping Sakura.

"Hmm…" Sakura mumbled, "Back already?"

Sasuke said nothing but handed her the coffee cup. Sakura took it and looked at Sasuke in confusion.

"I think you grabbed the wrong cup, because I don't think there is anything in there…." Sakura's voice was clouded by sleepiness.

"Just open it, Sakura."

"Ok…"

Sakura opened the lid, and inside was a beautiful diamond ring. She gasped in shock.

Sasuke bent down beside her, the warmth and love evident in his eyes. He took her hand and started to speak, "I want to bring you coffee every day for the rest of our lives, will you marry me?"

Tears of happiness spilled out of her eyes as she nodded in response. Sasuke slipped the ring onto her finger, and she kissed him. Naruto and Kakashi clapped enthusiastically, Kakashi even stopped reading his Icha Icha. All was Well.
