setting the scene for the story. Prompt

Derek sighed as he looked his old neighborhood. The team had arrested Carl Buford and were
going to be leaving on the jet in an hour or so. He'd asked Hotch if he could have a few
minutes to himself. The team leader
granted his friends request. He knew
this case had been tough on the younger man.
He was glad that they were going home soon. XXXX
Something caught his eye and he turned to see two boys
scuffling with each other. He thought
about getting in the middle of it but he knew it wouldn't do any good. Cops were hated and all he would do was cuse
a riot. The FBI agent was greatful he'd
convinced his mother to move out of the neighborhood. The idea of her living around prostitutes and
gang members when she didn't have to anymore made him sick. Noticing a few more people walking towards
the fighting males, Derek turned and headed the other way it wasn't his beat
anymore. Someone from CPD would
eventually come by. Just s he rounded
the corner he heard the sirens. As they
got closer the shouts from the fight that was slowly evolving into a riot got
louder. Derek smiled as he heard the
opening chords to the song that had just started playing on his MP3
player. It was I Predict A Riot by Kaiser
Chiefs.
'How appropriate' he thought
as he ambled towards the SUV ready to leave his past behind once and for all.
