"Tom?" Bill gently shook his twin's shoulder.
"Hmm?" Tom rolled over.
"I'm scared..." Bill whispered, face pale in the moonlight that came through the bus's skylight.
"Erm..."
"Please, Tomi?" Bill gave him puppy-dog eyes.
"Oh, alright." Tom sat up and leaned back against his pillows as Bill crawled onto his bunk. He lay next to Tom, head on his chest and an arm over his stomach. Tom hesitated before slowly putting an arm around Bill's shoulders.
"Bill..."
"Hmm?" He tilted his head up to look at Tom. Tom's heart skipped a beat as he looked into his twin's eyes. He liked the way Bill looked with no make-up, his hair down, and wearing a simple pair of plaid flannel pajama bottoms and a white T-shirt.
"Are you okay?"
"Mhm..." Bill buried his face in Tom's neck.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm scared..." he whispered again.
"Scared? Of what?" Tom tilted Bill's head up by the chin with a crooked finger and looked him in the eyes.
"Of...of loosing you." Bill hung his head.
"Oh, Bill. You just had a bad dream. I'll be okay."
"Are you sure, Tomi?"
"Yes. Now go to sleep."
"Ich liebe dich, Tomi."
Tom wrapped his other arm around Bill as he buried his face into Tom's neck.
"The best big brother ever..." Bill whispered before he fell asleep. Tom smiled and pulled a blanket over them. He then closed his eyes and fell asleep, cuddled up safely with his twin.
