A/n: I had this lying around so I posted it. Hope you like, it's really short and I hope it leaves you all warm and fuzzy inside. That is all. I apologize for Nude not getting updated in a while. My job requires I travel a LOT and for LONG periods of time every trip I make. I only just got back from a month long trip and I'm leaving again in like a month and a half (*desperately wants to throw a tantrum*). So I am playing catch up right now, watching the series and what not, to try and get back into the characters. I need full focus while I'm on the job which doesn't allow me to watch any Bleach at all. I apologize and I do hope I'll be coming out with a new chapter soon, loves! Thank you for reading!

Sunrises and Sunsets

He didn't know why, though if he had to hazard a guess, he would say Las Noches didn't have sunrises and sunsets and thus the blue-haired Espada lying next to him found the natural phenomenon intriguing to a point. He could always feel Grimmjow's distinctive repressed reiatsu for hours before he finally showed up in his room, a little after the sun had set. The one time he'd gone looking for him, he'd found him at a distance, staring unblinkingly as the sun disappeared behind a mountain and darkness overcame Karakura Town. He'd also woken up numerous times in the morning and pretended to be asleep so he could watch Grimmjow through half-lidded eyes as the hollow sat up in bed next to him with the bed sheets pooled around his naked waist and his beautiful teal eyes heavyset on the pale blue sky out the window of his room and the line that the rising sun made in the horizon as it rose into the vast expense that was the sky.

It got to him, how someone as wild and rough as Grimmjow, who claimed to have no sensitivity whatsoever to matters of the human world, could be fascinated by such a simple act of nature. He wanted to ask what was on his mind during these particular moments but he doubted Grimmjow would answer truthfully, if at all. Grimmjow wasn't particularly big on speaking of things that stirred emotions in him and he was grateful for that. He wasn't big on those either.

He'd refrained from showing the blue-haired Arrancar that he was aware of his secret. Truth was, he liked seeing Grimmjow like this, so peaceful and free from his own inhibitions. It helped forget they were enemies for a moment, doing unspeakable things behind the backs of those they'd sworn their loyalty to, in the middle of an all out war.

When Grimmjow would leave, he'd go places where he could appreciate sunrises and sunsets by himself in his memory until the Espada came back. Like with everything else in his life since Grimmjow had become a part of it, he found himself growing new appreciation for the act he'd taken for granted after 15 years of being subjected to it without fault. It would forever remind him of the Arrancar.

End. Short and—I hope—sweet. I hope
