Prompt was for Clark/Lex, red Kryptonite
Clark was always full of regrets after a bout with red K.
This time, more than ever.
He remembered the look on Lex's face when he had sped him into a bed, disoriented and fearful but unmistakably ... intrigued.
He remembers holding Lex down as Lex struggled, saying, "Clark, you're not yourself."
He remembered the way Lex changed his tune when Clark's lips came down on his dick, when his pleas of "no" became pleas of "more."
Clark remembered his frustration that he had to be so gentle with Lex. He remembered the precise combination of years of built-up lust and years of built-up anger that made redK-influenced Clark want to fuck Lex right into oblivion, wanted to make him cringe and moan and scream.
Clark remembered how badly he wanted to let go. To not hold back.
And so Clark held his red Kryptonite necklace tight between his and Lex's flesh as he stuck his fist into the wall where the wiring was.
And then Lex was strong. Strong enough to take Clark, and strong enough to give as good as he got.
And like Clark, Lex had no ability - or desire - to hold back from his darkest impulses.
After a few hours, Lex left. Soon after, Chloe and Oliver had found Clark and used greenK to sweat the redK out of him.
But now he was in hiding. From a man with Clark's powers, and Lex's twisted psyche, and no self-control whatsoever. But Clark knew if he hid from Lex forever, then it was the rest of the world that would suffer.
It already had, under Lex's swiftly organized reign. One world, one government, one day.
So Clark would have to stop hiding. He would have to fight Lex, or trick him, or at least distract him.
But after a bout with redK, Clark always had trouble getting back to his responsibilities. He always had trouble facing that dark streak, that knife-edge of a monster that would come out. Clark wondered how he could have missed it, how he could have failed to notice the smug psychotic that lurked inside of him.
Because he had known. When he had wanted so badly to take Lex and take him fully, he had known. He had chuckled to Lex, "You're going to have a lot of fun with my little gift to you, Lex. But not until after I've had my share."
Clark had known. That he was trading the world. For nothing more than the chance to plunge deeper into Lex.
And he did it anyway.
It was going to take a while for Clark to remember that there was a hero inside of him.
