Never Knew
A/N: Basically a little bit of drabble. My friend (apagi16) was writing something that started something like "Have you ever lost a loved one?" and my mind went off to Doctor Who land and I came up with this. I hope I haven't stolen anything that was majorly important to her story, so to avoid her shouting at me I shall dedicate it to her, because she's so cool. And she comments on how nice our (male) teacher's hair looks in the voice she usually talks about David Tennant in... Oh dear.
People die.
It's something that we have come to accept as a universe. But still when someone you love dies, you can never accept that it happens.
You say that you know these loved ones like the back of your hand. You know they're whole history, their likes, dislikes, crushes. But does that make you know them?
---
As Rose slammed her hands against the white wall, she realised that, yes, she may not have known his favourite colour, his history, and she may only have known a few of his likes and dislikes, and she thought she knew some of his crushes…
But she never really knew who the Doctor was.
Review?
