In your arms: Harry's diary

Dear diary,

Its Harry again last night was different me, Ginny, Ron and Hermione were snuggled in chairs by the fireplace in the Gryindor common room.

Ginny and me snuggled up together in one and, Ron and Hermione in another.

We were all just talking about our week of school that had just been.

Hermione of course brought up again that mine, hers and Ron's N.E.W.T exams were not to far away and we should be doing more work and studying more.

Luckily Ron told her to give it a rest for tonight she stubbornly agreed only if Ron promised to do some studying with her tomorrow, he happily said thinking that wont be only thing we will be doing.

We continued to talk about our week and our overload of homework that Hermione thankfully didn't comment on.

After a while Hermione stopped talking and fell asleep in Ron's arms, snuggled up against him. He didn't want to move her encase she woke up. He didn't want to have to carry her all the to their heads room and would probably end up waking her up and didn't want ask us to help.

He wouldn't have been able to anyway because ten minutes later because Ginny fallen asleep snuggled up in my arms. I didn't want wont to move her for same reasons, as Ron didn't want to move Hermione and I couldn't get her up to the girl's dormitory.

Now that Hermione was asleep we started on the topic of Quidditch if we had started it earlier Ginny probably stayed awake to about it with us.

Ron stopped talking for a minute to look at Hermione this reminded me of when he finally got up the courage to ask her out she said YES straight away of course and gave him a big kiss. I looked at Ginny who I was going out with and she just smiled back at me, we both had one word in our heads 'FINALLY'.

Thinking about this reminded me of the first time I kissed Ginny. Snape had given me a detention on that day it was also our Quidditch final and I couldn't play so Ginny played seeker in my place. When I went back to the common room after my detention thinking did we win did we loose when I got in there Ron came up to me saying we had won very excitedly. The next thing I saw was Ginny running at me then when she threw her arms around me I just kissed her. It was after I thought oops (as much as I enjoyed it) what will Ron think he's my best friend and I've just kissed his little sister. But luckily he thought if I was happy then he could be and Hermione couldn't be happier for us.

That's when Ron's loud snores interrupted my thoughts and brought me back to my senses, oops, how long had I just been sitting there remising over the past. When I saw the other three were asleep, I thought I cant be stuffed going up to my bed minutes later I was asleep too.

P.S. the Gryindors got quite a shock this morning when they came down and found the four of us asleep on the couches. Lucky for us when Neville woke up he thought it would be good idea to wake us up. Have to admit we were all a bit embarrassed when we woke up but we got over it.

A/N- this story is my first story so please review and tell me if you like the way I wrote this story in the form of a diary entry. Also id to say my inspiration from a song by 'the last good night' called in your arms

My inspiration mainly came from one line 'I will fall asleep here in your arms' so any would like to here it that's what its called.
