Gift for Shadowhachi
It was a hot day in Konoha as in fact it was of the hottest day of year. Shadow just back from a long mission of harvesting for rich man's garden, it wasn't a normal mission she would do, though it seemed like savage dogs had made a home in the garden. It took longer than she thought it would in the end she was left sweaty and hot.
"Don't know why I took on such a hard mission," Shadow said as she brushed her bangs from her burning face. She felt so unlucky getting a mission like that fighting off the dogs wasn't that hard but it took all day: Training them, feeding them, and then moving further on moving them.
Only thing Shadow wanted to now was sit under some shade and take a nap. She wouldn't mind sitting next to the lake and enjoying the cool air. She began walking on her way towards the lake her mind buzzing she need just a little break.
Brown eyes were watching her from the trees. He was watching her he had watched her while she trained the dogs. He knew she would be safe after all she had a giant wolf and trained that still it was enjoyable to watch her.
He moved from the shadows and continued on following her, his hands deep in his pocket. He only smiled as he knew where she was heading. He would treat her give her a helping hand and such, he wanted her to smile.
An hour passed, Shadow had found a comfortable seat under small tree that gave plenty of shade. Still the say was so out even with the sun sitting behind the horizon the heat didn't stop. She only blinked when she saw Yamato holding two ice-cream cones in his hand.
"Here," he said as he handed Shadow chocolate Ice cream, "I thought this might help with the heat,"
He sat next to her his free hand resting on her hand. Shadow blushed when she took hold of the other icecream and Yamato's hand touched hers.
"You always know what I need," she said smiling at him. The brown haired Ninja only smiled, "Why shouldn't I? "
They both enjoyed the quietness and ice cream while the sun disappeared past the horizon.
