xXx Koh xXx
I woke up the next morning and while I was well rested, something felt off. A strange feeling lingered in the air and I couldn't give it a point of origin. It was just a simple feeling. It shouldn't have bothered me but yet, it did. Something compelled me to gently touch my lips, I couldn't explain it but it made me smile. But still, it felt like something was wrong, missing-
Oh. Crap.
Last night was the night of the full moon. I completly forgot about it...
Oh no. Please let her still be here! I lept out of bed so fast that I nearly toppled over.
I ran to Sayo's room and nearly slammed open the door. She wasn't there, eveything was placed back in its proper place; the sheets were folded neatly on the bed, there was nothing on the desk and all of her poersonal belongs seemed to have vanished. The only indication that she was ever here was that her digivice was sitting the table. It was the only thing proving to me that I hadn't been dreaming,
Sayo was gone.
"Gatomon!" I called as I saw her come running down the hall towards me. She looked like she had been crying. "What's wrong?"
"Sayo's gone! Haven't you noticed or are you just so dense?" I took a step back, she started to cry again. I was left speechless, Gatomon had never yelled at me like that before. Sure she yelled and got angry with the digimon, but never me.
"Why didn't you wake me?"
"I found out just a minute ago!"
Letting her be I went to pick up Sayo's digivice and let her digimon out.
"Lunamon, realize! Lalamon, realize! Gaomon, realize!" the data streamed out of her digivice and reappeared in the room. They looked of tired, ar least until they saw how distressed Gatomon was and how tense I was. They scanned around the room before giving us a questioning look.
"Is everything alright?" Lunamon's small voice was full of uneasiness, Gatomon let out a choked sob and shook her head. Lunamon walked over to her and touched her shoulder gently.
"Koh. What happened?" it was Gaomon, loyal as ever and wanted to get to the root of the problem. He always wanted to deal with whatever was causing other's trouble. Given enough hints and time he would've pieced things together on his own, but why waste all that time.
"Sayos gone. She left last night, and I forgot that I was suppose to watch her all night last night. I'm so sorry." all three of them quickly snapped their heads at my direction.
"Wha-what did you say? Please tell me that you're joking." both me and Gatomon shook our head.
"I really did wish that it was a joke, but she really is gone."
"It can't be like this. We were suppose to be always be with her. Always."
"Lunamon..."
"We need to tell the Chiefs, NOW." Gaomon spoke up her tone serious and comanding.
"Look at the time, it's like seven in the morning and I don't think even half of the city gets up until eight."
"Damn it!" that came from Lunamon, who looked beyond frustrated. Who would have thought that something so small and cute could curse. "What do we do now?"
"I suggest that we stay calm and we should wait until it is a reasonable time and then go to the Chiefs. It's far too early as Koh pointed out and for now we can't do anything. And we should avoid doing anything rash lest we cause more toubles for ourselves." Lalamon had always been the reasonable one in the group.
"That sounds reasonable. We have to wait Lunamon, there's nothing we can do. I'm sorry."
"Fine." Lunamon said in a huff. That made me smile, she and Sayo were so much alike that it was scary. Though it made sense, the two of them were very close.
xXx Sayo xXx
I woke up in an odd and unfamiliar place and panic filled me before the memories of yesterday came rushing back.
Thats right.
I left with the Seven Demon Lords. I cautiously sat up and took in the room, it was a large room and very lavishly furnished and decorated. The walls were a light grey with intricate black designs swirling all over the room. Dark velvet and lace curtains hung over the windows blocking the light and making the room much darker than it was. There was a dresser, a table, a couch where the wood was painted black and had lavender cushions, a large fullbody mirror, and the large soft king sized bed that I was on.
I noted that I wasn't wearing what I wore when I left last night and my old clothing was no where to be found. I walked slowly over to the mirror and took a good look at myself.
What in the name of hell was I wearing?
It was a dark blue Victorian like dress, with a white lacy underskirt, the neck was a big square v, the sleeves ended at my elbow and had two layers of ruffles, there was intricate while flower designs on the bodice and skirt of the dress. Around my neck was a pearl chocker and on my head was a pearl headband with a blue rose on the side. It was elegant and something akin to what an aristocrat would've worn a long long time ago.
The knock at the door startled me and my voice caught in my throat.
"C-come in." I called out in a meek and far too soft voice. Lilithmon appeared in the doorway.
"Well, it seems like you're up. My, my that dress looks wonderful on you, no doubt because I had personally picked it out. However, you're still not much competition when compared to me." I nervously smiled at her. She walked into the room and closed the door before walking over to me. I took a step back as fear consumed me. She smirked slightly. "You better get use to us-but mostly me-being around you. We'll be your only companions for a very, very long time. After all I am the only female Demon Lord, so you better get use to us spending a lot of time together darling." those words sent chills up my spine.
"U-um would you mind telling me where I am?" my voice hadn't gotten any better, if anything it only got smaller.
"You are in the Shadow Abyss my dear. If you're thinkng about getting out of here already then forget about it, no one can get in here unless they know were to look for our little castle. So you better make yourself comfortable and at home."
"I-I-I'm trying to get out of here! L-like I said as long as you don't hurt anybody I'll stay with you."
"Hmm. Well I guess as long as you keep your word we won't touch any of those humans. Since you just woke up you must be hungry. Human bodies are so finicky, I'll go find someone to get you some food." she turned around and left, leaving me all alone in the quiet and dark room. This was the begining of my eternity here and I suppose if I could get used to them it won't be too hard to adjust to a life here.
It's just...
I miss them already.
I hope they aren't worried too much.
A/N: Sorry for the short chapter but that's all I have for now.
Love,
Dragon
