Christmas Cookies, a drabble

I own nothing.

"Merry Christmas everyone!" Demyx said with a cheerful grin. Setting down the plate of cookies, he plopped ungracefully in a chair.

"What are these?"

"Christmas cookies, duh Zexy!"

"I'm Jewish."

Demyx gaped at Zexion. Jewish? For five years Demyx had been giving him presents, and not one word of this 'I'm Jewish'.

"Don't you remember his Bat Mitzvah?" Roxas questioned from across the table.

'His Bat Mitzvah? Oh God, when was that? Did I miss something important? Shoot I'm screwed.'

Everyone sitting at the table exchanged glances. "Judging by your silence, Dem, I would say you don't recall." Roxas said.

"He was sick." Zexion spoke up quietly. "With the stomach flu remember. And it was really going around that year. Axel caught it next." Axel sat up straighter.

"Hey I remember that! I was considering refurnishing the bathroom to be my room, so I wouldn't have to keep running to it."

Sora was slowly brining the plate closer and closer to him and it was just about in front of him when Demyx noticed. "Sora."

He looked up and blushed, then pouted. "Well they were just sitting there, and they looked so lonely so..."

Demyx shook his head. "Go ahead. I have to go."

Axel looked up from his braiding of Roxas's hair. "Where you going?'

"To bake some Hanukkah cookies."

Demyx was halfway home when Zexion showed up behind him, slightly out of breath.

"Dem, you don't have to make special cookies for me. It's okay really."

Demyx spun around. "No Zexy. It always seems like Hanukkah and Kwanza and other holidays always get passed by at this time of year. I've been giving you Christmas presents and by now I really should know my boyfriend's religion right?"

Zexion smiled. It was a small smile, but it was there. "Thanks."

Demyx nodded, hooking an arm around Zexion's waist. "How about helping me make some of those cookies?"

"I would love to."

And done. It's really short I know. Oh well. I just sat down in front of my computer and started writing. Happy Holidays!
