1) Elizabeth
After Will leaves, Elizabeth stays too busy to miss him. She can't display weakness; pirates are like wolves.
Then Jack shows up, a lone shark among minnows.
His company is hateful: he postured and got her husband cursed. But this is the man that she killed, and risked everything to save; this man is the driving force behind all her successes. When she kisses him, she thinks she could do it all again, for him.
Right up until she gets knocked over the head in a bar fight on his behalf, and misses the most important day of her life.
